To be fair that hard-fought back and forth 12-rounder with Eammon Magee was a good battle of the pissheads. Magee might of taken him early if not for the referee.

He had glamour boy Gary Stretch to deal with at Olympia, with Gazza and Spandeu Ballet ringside. Amazing night. 10mill on ITV at 10pm on a Wednesday night!

Jackson was having eye surgery and out for a while. And Don King didn’t fancy it anyway, according to Andy Ayling. King didn’t become interested in Eubank until he came to Britain and saw how big Eubank was here, and once he showed up with a monocle that was as it; King had his man or so he thought

Another thing Eubank said regarding fights with Jackson or Nunn in Vegas in 90/91 (JJ) or 93/94 (MN) was he wasn’t an undercard fighter - he was a main event fighter, and he’d only be on Mike Tyson’s undercard as main supporting act; nobody else but Tyson he’d have above him

He's 3rd best behind lynch and Buchanan, Arthur and burns were never anywhere near being considered Scotland's greatest anyway not sure why they've been mentioned
