There’s a long way to go before it’s done and dusted. I’m sure Eddie will be pushing Whyte to purse bids.

Depends on the split. And Eddie doesn't manage Dillian. People on here think I'm mad, but Tyson will sell out anywhere now. It's not 2015.

My missus works at Principality head office, so she always gets early access to stadium events.

Yeah - I thought the same when I saw him.

He got the fans chanting AJ is pussy - I’m not quite how that aligns with his mental health drive.
I thought the same. Rather hypocritical surely?

Whyte will keep Eddie involved. They seem to have never had a signed deal but continue to work together regardless - as have several others.

Agree it depends on the split - it’s weird that doesn’t seem to have been announced. Hard to negotiate a fight when you don’t know how strong a hand you’ve got.

Tyson will probably sell out most places - particularly with Whyte as an opponent.

Yep - typical Tyson though. Contradicts himself from one sentence to the next. It’s entertaining and creates sound bites but it just means you can’t really trust a word he says unfortunately.

From Boxing Scene

The WBC did not mention the purse split for the Fury-Whyte fight in its correspondence with the three aforementioned promoters. Champions and challengers usually share a 70-30 split for WBC title bouts, but Carl Moretti, Top Rank’s vice president of boxing operations, proposed an 80-20 split in Fury’s favor at the WBC’s annual convention last month in Mexico City.

Fury we often forget is a master of mind games getting people riled up when during the build-up for the Wilder rubber match he said he wanted Whyte in December.

I can’t see Tyson being ready for March let alone before March. Earliest will be April I think.

only with the right dance partner

big crowds are not going to see seferi or wallin level guys - has to be a realistic contender like Whyte / Joyce /Usyk or AJ

I'm with mickey.

Fury since his hiatus has become a much bigger draw - just look at the seferi crowd btw in Manchester which was much bigger than he would have got for the (albeit ridiculously priced) Wlad rematch).

But since the Wilder triology, he is quite probably the most popular boxer we have, and his next fight properly priced (like AJs always are) sells out outdoor stadiums.

Yeah Tyson is "an event" now.
Stadium show for sure. Whyte sells a fight great too - it'll be massive.

nice to Finally see Dillian Whyte getting a title shot and respect to Tyson fury for stepping up. i mean for the longest time Dillian was going to rematch Anthony Joshua but either aj or Hearn kept delaying it

I will be glad to see this happen.
Unless Tyson alters his trajectory - then Whyte has a real chance winning too.

Something still tells me there will be a lot of negotations and I am not writing off the step aside money as don't unifications take priority.

Although I am sure Hearn will now say no money will be considered.

What's it got to do with Hearn?

He works closely with Whyte and has promoted his last 15 or so fights. Whyte will keep him involved as it’ll clearly help him leverage a better deal.

Yes and bigger picture if Whyte does upset Fury then off course it will potentially make that Unification fight a bit easier to make.

If this goes to purse bids you think Hearn will go big on it? Beating Top Rank and Frank shouldn’t be too hard considering Hearn keeps bragging about how much money there is.
DAZN’s first PPV starting at 40 quid a pop I’d say with Hearn telling us we are lucky as the Yanks pay double that.
End is nigh.
