Lerena was stunned clearly, but hell, you can't stop it with a fighter being just dazed.

Wilder would ko DDD in 30 seconds. DDD vs Whyte would be good. but wont happen for now.
That one could be "who lands first"

I dont think anyone would complain about the stoppage if DDD knockdowns didnt happen.

Stoppage was bad, as they often are in Britain...

Terrible stoppage...the bell had ended for the round, Lerena deserved the opportunity to go back to his corner and regroup.
Are you serious ?!
His head was lolling about one way and his eyes another ! He was out on his feet, I woulda stopped it when he hit the deck.
I'm not saying Dubois wouldn't have got him out of there in the next round but to stop it on the bell without giving him a count and assessing how he was, was total BS.

It’s a set up.
They wanted to make sure Fury was out around 9pm.

Stoppage was completly fine if there was 2 mins of round left. that uppercut was nasty, then the left hool was savage, then that last right was a good shot..... had he of gone down a tiny bit quicker he would of got a count and survived the round, but was stopped standing.
Very hard in my opinion to stop someone standing with just a few seconds left in a round.

TBF he coulda been ok after a minute rest and game on !
Woulda been good to see, but that's not the refs call is it. Who was it who was famously ahead on pts and stopped with like 5 secs to go or whatever...?

Opponent was pretty crap. Got lucky in the first and so did DDD, but strangely didn't do anything in the 2nd.

Can the reputation of British boxing get any lower ? That was absolutely scandalous.
On the feed I had on you could hear DD was saying he didn’t wanna carry on after the first. Fair play to him for sticking in there and to Shane for some calm advice. I don’t think DD is gonna make it to the top table, euro level at best.

Scandalous is the right word. You go down by yourself and the fight should be called. The round was also cut at least 10 seconds early when one more punch would have done Dubois and he was as much on the verge of quitting as a fighter can be.
