I think the Russian State is putting out more truthful information than Team Fury these days. He’s a nonsense!

Chisora 4. PPV.

Will he fight on the 29th? Because the stadium is booked!
Obviously he won't be earning the really big money if AJ or Usyk aren't in the other corner.
I'm sure he will be in good enough shape for the Chisoras of this world.

I'm not really interested in Joyce because beyond his power and chin he's not particularly threatening. He's slower than molasses. Sure, it'd go the distance and get the rust off Fury but ultimately Joyce is basically European level or marginally world level.joshj909 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2023, 03:08
Personally, I think Joyce is probably one of the easier top level fights for Fury. He's just too slow. Joyce's strengths are his size, his chin, his engine, his output, his power and his jab. I think Fury's size, engine, defence and willingness to go the distance will negate most of them. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
Joyce is the "interim WBO world champion". I wonder if Fury would count that as a fourth belt and retire. Alternatively, the WBO don't put it up in that fight but he loses and you could end up with dregs fighting in an eliminator.
I'm hoping for Andy Ruiz in the meantime, because it'd be a bigger name who has at least been world champion at some point. But boxing, time and again, goes to show us all never to be excited or hopeful because since the 1990s this sport cannot get the big fights to happen either when they are supposed to or not at all.
Boxing needs a universal czar or something where they can override the organizations and force the champions to fight or vacate. Boxing needs a model like the UFC.
