Allen has alluded to Yoka being juiced up to the gills when they fought.

From Boxing News: Allen continued: “It was only after I boxed Tony Yoka (in June 2018) that I started to think more about it. I remember returning to my corner after the first round and saying, ‘This man is superhuman.’

“I’d sparred Joe Joyce and many others and was never out of my depth strength-wise. But then I boxed Tony Yoka and it was like nothing I’d ever felt in the ring.

“I’m not accusing him of anything. I know he got a one-year ban (in 2018) but it wasn’t for a banned substance (the French Anti-Doping Agency punished Yoka for missing three anti-doping tests in less than a year).

“Anyway, it took me ages to get home on the Eurostar – the tunnel was shut, both my eyes were swollen shut, I was concussed – and the next morning I’d seen he had received a year ban. After that I started to read into these things a bit more and then people would say to me, ‘Oh, didn’t you know about Ortiz and Whyte?’”

i dont know how much backing yoka will still have with this loss

if he's still got a team behind him and a network behind him and he wants to go on, he should go on a streak of facing a bunch of offensively limited ebu-eu level guys he can rack wins up and get momentum and pad his record. maybe see if he can fight for the euro vs a soft touch. the top 25 simply seems too tough for him, and any more ventures into that range need to be as cashouts

to me though, he had the look of a guy who simply doesnt want to be there any more. it really was like a 43 year old beating up an overgrown sulky kid

Good point.
His team, his management, and he himself will see watching it back how badly someone's grandpa beat him.
I'm being generous to give Yoka two rounds.
I actually felt pity for Yoka.
It seems the juice was part physical and a good part psychological for him, because without out it he is a scared little big boy.

just watched the full fight on catch up and yoka was even worse than I thought he could ever be whilst Takam was better than I thought he could hope to be .
But yoka was pretty good at back pedaling to be fair .
But virgil hunter in the corner telling him he was winning wtf !

Sounds nice. The Old Takam defeated the Mighty Jerry Forrest, slapped the Big Mak, won every round vs Joyce before getting caught and stopped, bullied Yoka. Now Dub, who was outboxed and bruised by Joyce and went life-and-death vs Lerena, looks barely as a victim to the Old Mongoose Takam.

Beggers belief that he even made the Olympics let alone medalled, he's a poor pro, very disappointing
