Buatsi has beaten the better opposition and shown much more resilience that Azeez may not have.

Buatsi was taking body shots over and over from the Latvian fella and sending them straight back at him. I don’t think Azeez would be able to take those shots and push back to stop that guy the way Buatsi did.

That was a good bad fight - Dov is a HW matchmaker's dream

This fight keeps giving me echoes of Honeyghan-Mittee from way back. My hunch is Buatsi brings more class and moves on to bigger fights and Azeez finds his level. Prepared to be proven wrong as always mind.

I look at Buatsi's uniform for the ring entrance and feel like the perfect matching music would be 'heal the world' by Michael Jackson.

And have all the crowd waving their hands above their head.

Buatsi looks nervous as hell. Azeez is going to win this.

both attended the post-fight presser, really decent attitude from both, Buatsi spent a lot of time praising Azeez after the fight, very classy. They've both come across really well with the performance and behaviour after.

He called it right, there wasn't much in the fight but Buatsi was always a step ahead.

Buatsi rose to the occasion to register his best win to date

Azeez pushed him all the way and can look forward to more big nights The knockdowns being counted were harsh. Unlucky Dan was slipping without punches being thrown !

No more pissing about for Buatsi now and should jostle for first crack at the winner of the unification clash between Beterbiev v Bivol in June.

Watching that was hard work frankly .
Dont agree that it was billed as a final eliminator - neither is good enough to challenge the top boys for a belt .
Buatsi lacks power which will be his undoing should he get a tilt .
Put him in vs yarde or callum smith to get a proper guage .

I agree that he will be beat by the top boys, but if Yarde and Smith are good enough, so is he.

Him v Yarde or Smith would be good fights

Smith, Yarde, Richards, Johnson & even Arthur have all had their title shots....now it's Buatsi's turn

Could it be Buatsi has been waiting for the storm to blow over and hope Beterbiev & Bivol will be creaking by the time he mounts his challenge
