Britain is not an especially tolerant country for criminals, which is reflected in the fact that we lock up more than pretty much anyone else in the old EU, and by a pretty long way

Was 3 years a long or a short time , after all Manchester was well known for guns and crime , cheetham hill , collyhurst, Monsall , north manchester area are not blue chip areas , so was a local celebrity let of lightly or given a harsh sentence , your guess .
