As I always say, it’s n out the score that’s bad when there’s a “what you like” type fight, it’s that 99.9% of the time it goes towards who they want to win.
The outcome of a fight shouldn't be decided by who happens to be sitting around the ring, regardless of what the judges prefer.
But it is. Every single close round. I mean only an edge, and not consciously. It’s just some people will value the one crisp shot more than the 3 glancing shots. Some wont.
There is no way around that.
But, boxing judging is terrible regardless of that.
Yep because if you tried to make it automatic like "The guy who scores the most punches wins" then you'd just wind up with Amateur Style point scoring Boxing where people rarely throw full force punches, and nobody wants that.

I'd be surprised if Inoue loses (also if he doesn't win by knockout), but this is nuts.
I don't think this should be a thing between the champ and one of the highest ranked contenders.
I'd say it mainly just speaks to the general public's complete lack of awareness of Picasso.

Naka probably was 5-0 up or very close to it, so no problems with him winning, but 118 just stinks.

Thank fvck they saw his hand wraps early… would of been bad if he stopped him then they saw his tape was stacked (nothing dodgey, it’s allowed in Japan so that’s what he would be use to doing)

Picasso has a small head and a skinny neck. He is getting stopped early.
Also I wish they would save there money on buffer and put on an extra undercard fight instead..

Agreed. Buffer was great, but he's no more special than many of the other announcers at this point. It's just a Nostalgia thing.

Fairly patient 1st round. A few good body shots from Inoue that probably got him the round, but not a lot there to separate 'em.
