Neither have the power for world levle. Even excluding inoue. But good chance a lot of 122 belts go vacant in a year ish.

Personally I don’t think crisp counters should score as well as they do if they don’t have any power…
I don’t like how much he gave away late, didn’t make sense to me.

I can only see a one point victory for Masoud.
McGrail won 6 rounds clearly for me & then there was a swing round.
I think it’s farcical that you can score Masoud 116.

Thought McGrail nicked it 114-113 but no complaints about the decision, surprised it was unanimous mind, cracking fight all the same, 2 high level technicians, McGrail started off quick, really putting it on Masoud and unsettling him but Masoud grew into things, was picking McGrail off with some nice shots and was landing some clean left hands, hurt McGrail in the 9th I think it was, thought the point off in the 10th for McGrail looked harsh but he had been pulled up already, McGrail finished well with though, upped the tempo, still close , Masoud coasted and I thought McGrail edged it but not a robbery by any means

Masoud is pretty good and it was close - I don't mind him nicking that on the dodgy point deduction, but..
Wide UD makes it seem like they scored it before watching.

Missed everything tonight, I was in the pub, so McCrail and McCormick aren't as good as they are touted to be, not likely to win world titles.
I guess, especially as they aren't ticket sellers, that fast car won't continue to invest in them.
Their best chance now will be to win something as an away fighter

I agree. I thought either Masoud or McGrail might have nicked it by a point, or a draw would have been fair. And there was no need for the referee to deduct that point from McGrail.

I didn't score it but felt like Masoud was the winner. He was the lad I'd rather have been in the fight. McGrail just lacks something. He's got good movement but his timing and accuracy are off. He was in against a tricky operator here who was fighting negatively though. But most top guys in this division are skilled enough to fight that fight.

I think the 20 second count is for when someone is completely out of the ring apron into the floor of the building. Also he didn’t look right to continue at 10, and don’t think he would of at 20.

Makes you wonder if the ropes were tight enough.
Also, the way he had them under his knees made it almost impossible for him to get up. I was hoping Davison would shove him back in or untangle his legs, but his trainer was possibly worried about getting mccormack disqualified.
