This could be the birth of a Tyson Fury that is forced to stand and trade and sit down on his punches more because the legs ain't what they once were. I really can't imagine Fury vs Makh being boring to be honest, but I could be wrong. Fury can certainly bore you, but I think he'll find Makh a pretty inviting target.

Just old mate.
His weight wasn't much of an issue, that could be different closer to 40. Also the pictures of him training and how much muscle he has lost from his arms and legs. I'm suspicious of weight loss drugs and lack of training.
There is a chance he steams through Mak, but there is also a chance his stamina and punch resistance has faded. I'm keener to watch this than Chisora or Whyte that's for sure

Edit: I haven't watched either if those two fights

I have a Bad Manners story...........

So, back in the day Bad Manners were playing a gig at the Sunderland Empire. My then brother in-law had just acquired something called a Video Camera and had taken to filming gigs out of sight at the side of the stage. Before the set, one of the band put a bucket near my brother in-law and as the gig went on, the band members drank loads of liquids and p1ssed in the bucket. When they came back on for the encore, Buster Bloodvessel asked the crowd, "Who's thirsty?". The fans all shouted "ME!", while he grabbed the near full bucket of urine and proceeded to throw it all over the crowd.

Fury managed to get clobbered by a crap telegraphed wilder right and wilder was throwing the same punch all night. He's not that hard to hit and is only getting older and fatter. He could get hit with something even by an inept fighter like Mak. Even ngannou was able to land and he hasn't got a clue how to punch properly.

It should do better than the Eubank v Benn fight which was nowhere near sold out yet it's said now it sold 70,000. Tyson did 50+ for Del 3 in December there so it should do well. The public can't get enough of him.

If I were in England I'd be choosing Wilder vs Chisora and Wardley vs Dubois over Fury's comeback personally. Not that I wouldn't want to see Fury's comeback, it's just that the other 2 are better matchups.

I'm not, though, I just go out of my way to add balance on here when it's ridiculously against him. I have only been to 2 and I probably attend as many shows as anyone in here except those who work in the sport, such as jonp. I'm known for disliking Matchroom and AJ, I'd put money on it that I've been to more Matchroom shows than 95% of people on here. At least 15 in the last 3 years, including Nothern Ireland and Ireland.
Why do you think Netflix have taken this fight, Keith? Is it because they're thick and his popularity is on the wane, or is it possibly because they ran a series on him so popular that they commissioned another one straight away and got him to box on their channel?

Because he's one of the biggest stars in the sport, and his comeback will be a fight that draws a lot of fan interest. He's also one of the sports most notorious self promoters so he is almost guaranteed to do his part to help sell the event.

Wilder vs Chisora the week before him is a better fight. Wardley vs Dubois the month after him is a better fight.

But I'd bet you almost anything Tyson Fury is going to get more people to watch his fight than they are. Being on Netflix pretty much guarantees it, but even if he were on the same platform as them, I'd say the same thing. He's just one of those guys that gets people buzzing.
