The Trump administration has filled White House press slots with right-wing bloggers, “influencers” and podcast hosts. I have watched a couple of “press” conferences where only suck ups were allowed to pitch him softballs and the Fox News correspondent was the closest one to a reporter. I don’t watch enough to know if, on Air Force One, for instance, somebody has asked him about the 500% lie, but access at more regular White House events has been severely limited or cut off to most real reporters.
