He'd easily make Cruiser, I think he needs to get down there. If the Dolan semi had been first I think he might have beaten Rogan in the final. Great scrap though.
they should have started it earlier, it was a 9.30 start for SKY purposes, but I dont know whwy they insist on that.

If they're going to do it again I think they should have an undercard fight between the semis and the final to give the second semi final winner a bit of a rest. Rogan had about an extra half hour of rest before that final while Dolan had about 5 minutes!

yeah, there should be something, i was more worried about missing the tube home than how knackered Dolan was, sorry to say.

Fair play though Dolan showed tremendous heart and wouldn't go down without a fight.

I saw you up there. I think you had the best seats in the place! I was behind Ferguson's entourage; the guys who kept jumping up and down. lol. Enzo Macc was below you most of the time. :TU:

I reckon Middleweight, or Light Middle.
Barry said the classic weight classes, so I would guess that Middleweight will be next. I'll definitely go again.

People can criticise the calibre of the fighters, but it was amazingly entertaining. Dolan and Rogan showed a lot of technique. You could tell that Dolan had great amateur pedigree.

no, we were the other side... facing the ring from the SKY tables, we were up on their right, level-ish with them... We were behind Besseys corner, his main support was diagonally opposite us.

I don't understand where you're saying you were. Near the entrance, but up top?

up top, through the main doors, go left, down the balcony till you are as far into the room as the far edge of the ring.

I thought similar but then supposing a standby, like Chisora, looked that much better than the two finalists and everybody was left thinking the wrong blokes were in the final?

I think we were where Asterix is saying he saw us. We were staring at the Ferguson entourage the whole time we were there, if you remember Ferguson had 3 birds with little on jumping up and down whenever he fought.

Only for the Morgan fight. Spoke to other people and he was sat under us for the rest! Dam we could have spoke to him.

Yep, I think Dirk's right. Enzo Macc was under you guys for a while. The fighter's walked beneath you to get to the ring.

Very entertaining night of boxing on Friday, thoroughly enjoyed it and so did plenty of my 'casual fan' mates.

Rogan had an excellent night and deserved to win it. Dolan had the best skills in the tournie, but Rogan had the better heart and desire.

I was sceptial at first but there's no doubting it was an excellent nights entertainment. The participants really went for it.

Respect to all the guys who took part. Congratulations to Rogan and hard luck to Dolan who came very close. For me, he was still the best boxer in the tournament with tough opposition from start to finish.

As long as the idea doesn't get out of control, I'd welcome a 2009 event.
