And also they wanted Saunders to go at the higher weight.
Same happened with Reid and Dodson, when they were both best at 11st, Dodson had to go at Welter or not go

There have been rumours circulating for quite a while that Frankie is known as "funtime" for more reasons than his love of a practical joke. Whether that had anything to do or not with his weight making woes I do not know.

On a completely unrelated note there was a pretty decent Ukrainian light heavy withdrawn from the games a few weeks ago for failing a drugs test but I'm not sure if it was for a performance enhancing sustance or a recreational drug. Anyway should ensure an easier path for Jeffries or Egan.

He has done it for Joe Murray, how tall is Joe? Everyone on the warrior boxing spoke about Joe's weight problems but he is Ok now, because he has been getting the advice still. Everything was on schedule until they got them over there and the ABA worked their magic.
Didn't Murray still collapse a little on one of the weighs Ins despite making weight though or was that before he got Kayes?

I forgot, anyone who excels at any sport just has to be Irish don't they!!!

Makes you wonder why they tend to do so shit at the Olympics and are consistently outshone in Boxing(both am and pro)by England, Wales and Scotland...

If Gavin thinks of himself as Irish then he should have fought for them instead.

What a complete and utter crank. Got a big lump in my throat when I read that. Feel so sorry for Gavin. Edwards attitude in general and quotes like the above are outrageous. Just saddened by the whole affair. Lions led by Monkeys I'm afraid.
So, having heard a whisper Goods, what do you think now?

Well no disrespect intented to Kerry here, but a nutrionalist is hardly rocket science. If Gavin was on schedule before leaving for China, surely all Kerry needed to do was provide a diet sheet that Gavin must stick at.. and things would have been okay.

Theres a rumour and I stress only a rumour that Frankie Gavin was on the missing list on Thursday, was wondering if anyone had heard this as well.

To be honest there are too many weird rumours doing the rounds at the minute and most of them are naughty. I think I'll hold on for a fortnight and get the full story once the olympics are over. It has been said in the national press that there is a story to be told once the olympics are over. I wait in anticipation.
