To be fair to Warren, he knows his boxing and he's never rated Khan.

Khans finished, listen to FW he knows it. Amir cant take a shot and FW always knew it. Fair play.

He shifted the blame to Rubio. He said the new trainer asked for Prescott to be Khan's next opponent.

God bless the trainer then! 8) 8) 8)

I don't think the weight is the problem.
You have to teach him to ease his way into a fight.
Amir is a better boxer than he is a puncher, even Gomez said he couldn't hit.
His team have to accept some responsibilty here.
Amir is a young guy and may think he knows it all,but he doesn't.
You need some wise heads working on his gameplan.

Amir will be back,he has just learned a very important lesson... the hard way.

Rubio picked him as his last fighter lost to Presscott.
why????

yeah, Prescott was average against Abril his last fight...I thought it was close enough for him to lose to Abril.....but all and all.......maybe Abril would have drilled Khan also..... :D

I was disgusted by that. It was the Promoter's fault.

Now Sky are trying to make us think Khan can come back and it was his mistakes. :-?

I saw the same thing - lots did - but it was always a Warren card, ostensibly. There must've been a falling out behind the scenes.

Nelson and Piper are right: Prescott will be in the way now, unless he moves up. Khan was a superb amateur, but as Nicky says, there are many examples of boxers who failed to make the transition.

Should of learnt to walk before he ran, the hype, bookdeals and the money he was getting was disgusting considering he's only on domestic level.

I'm sorry but you can't say "Khan has good skills" Defence is the most important skill in boxing which Khan never had.

It's shameful that hardly any of you guys recognised Khan was a fraud from the start.

Fcuk i wish i'd seen this!

Perhaps Warren felt Khan was set to leave him, so he decided to squeeze every last drop of milk from him that he could by sticking him on PPV, at the same time giving him this Prescott as a good bye present

Take that with you Amir you fud! :box: Ooop's, you aint got nowhere to go now, could it be that Fwank's got you right where he wants you?

Agree with McCrory - Prescott didn't look like a sloth in warming up. He looked live and quite tasty.

That's what I thought - but then Warren looked so gutted after the fight in the interview. BEst resul;t for British Boxing in years....

Dodging, JC? You mean opponents or straight right hands.

Joe's got a cast iron chin and he's needed it.

Watt brought up a good point about Amir just charging into Prescott like all his other opponents. Except Prescott wasn't a small non puncher.

Mmmm, just watched it on YouTube and cant say i agree that Amir charged in, thats bollocks. All he did was come out on his toes, and what else would one expect? He looked lively, just as he should have, but he never charged in!

Amir got smashed, plain and simple. There should be no excuses........ his defense is poor and his chin brittle, end off.

Lets now watch Warren plough Khan through the comeback trail.......... jeez, can any of us really be bothered with this

You clowns should be ashamed that you didn't see Khan was a fraud from the start.

I think only me and overhand recognised it... could none of you see this happening, even this early?

I'm gutted I didn't have more guts than £20 on rd 1 for Prescott. I should have won 10 grand on this fight, not just £1600. This was one of those golden betting opportunities with odds totally fuelled by hype.

Oh, and well done Cannibal too. :box:

Warren has a contract on a better prospect, as of tonight. It was particularly good acting though, I'll give him that. Remember that 'how to act' workshop programme with Michael Caine? That could easily have been fronted by Allegedly.

Riddick: I've read quite a few comments expressing doubt over Khan on here. Emma comes to mind immediately. And I once said I'd personally fight Amir for £5K (or was it £3K?). He was massively over-rated (looking at you, ITV), but let's not be nasty about him as an individual.

Edit: There's Emma now!
