RJJ has far to much skill and boxes Benn's head off for 12 rounds for me nobody at his weight could beat RJJ in 1995 IMO wide UD decision
Ricky Hatton vs Meldrick Taylor Prime for Prime 12 rounds LWW

Tubbs would be able to eek out a close UD imo, but probably being knocked down along the way.
Naz would probably be able take an easy UD imo.

Lazcano Ko8 while well down on the cards.

valuev has enough to win a ud in dull fight ,no one hits the deck as although both huge men neither can really punch.
michael katsidis vs beau jack (15 round lightweight fight and weigh-in on the day of the fight)
thomas hearns vs carlos monzon (middleweight)

What Monzon would do to Tommy would turn Barkley green with envy. One sided affair though Thomas is able to take Carlos off his feet in round 3. But Monzon the Machine does not get flustered, takes Tommy to the deep waters of round 10 and sinks him.
Riddick Bowe vs Oliver McCall. McCall coming off his win over Lewis.

McCall claims he is fired up, but really, is looking ahead to Lewis-McCall II
Bowe, as always, is a bit chubby, but is skillful and big punching, outslicking McCall and stinging him with hooks, nearly knocking him over in the 9th, but McCall was more off balance, before taking a 120-108 UD
Ola Afolabi vs Nickolai Valuev
Kelvin Davis vs Cliff Couser (In a clash of journeyman Tyson lookalikes)

Valuev grunts, holds, and uglies up a UD.
Concrete Davis puts Couser to sleep in the 4th.
Shannon Briggs vs Tim Witherspoon over 12 rounds

Briggs loses technique against Witherspoon, who keeps composure, and takes some huge shots in the 12th, to seal a SD
Joe Louis vs David Haye
Archie Moore vs Zora Folley

Joe Louis vs David Haye
Archie Moore vs Zora Folley
Louis KO 4 in a one sided beating.
Folley KO13 in a close one, with Folley being knocked down twice in round 8, but overpowering the smaller Moore down the stretch.
Jose Napoles vs Floyd Mayweather Jr 12 rds WW
Lloyd Honeyghan vs Miguel Cotto 12 rds WW

the peak napoles busts floyd up in the later rounds for a good stoppage.
napoles TKO 10
lloyd gets stuck into cotto from the off but fails to dent him enough to win. miguel comes back into the fight in the 5th and backs honeyghan up - it turns into an all time war, a boxing blitzkreig. both men are close to exhaustion in the 12th but cotto is the stronger and lloyd goes down twice before the ref calls it a day for him. great fight.
cotto TKO 12

jones too big and fast. imo jones would win a clear decision against a tough tiger.
arturo gatti vs barry mcguigan at 130.

Mcguigan in an pugilistic assault on the senses. Brutal affair that sees the winner having tasted the canvas twice.
Ezzard Charles, fresh off his 1951 title fight with Joey Maxim, seeks a new opponent as Jersey Joe pulls out lame.
In steps a confident, 1980 version of Gerry Cooney...

cooney is not so confident after having his ears boxed off for 10 rounds and is clearly becoming disheartened. the 11th sees more loss of interest from gerry and charles takes him out after 2 minutes of thoughtful butchery.
charles KO 11
lets pit dick tiger against another seriously good brit of african origin, john conteh.

Dick Tiger and John Conteh fight to a controversial draw. No one films the fight and it was not televised, so everyone is left wonder what the hell happened that night. Folks who were actually in the audience become folk heroes as they each tell how their man controlled the action and deserved the decision.
Staying with Light Heavys, Fabrice Tiozzo vs Leo Lomski Pinnacle of their respective careers.

"Rumors" of films/videos of the Conteh-Tiger fight have surfaced for years but NO ONE has produced the goods.....probably just some fight fans attempting to stir up some attention for themselves.

Tiozzo jabs with Lomsky, and it get's boring
Tiozzo then, after Lomsky overreaches, lands a short left hook to spark Lomsky
Roberto Duran, fresh off his slaughter of Ken Buchanan, is looking for his first defence

hold on a second...SLAUGHTER? BUCHANAN? sorry my friend, roberto duran never ever slaughtered ken buchanan. did you see the fight? or did you just dream it up? only in the "hypo match up game" could such a thing happen and it is just as likely on this thread that the scot could box robbo's ears off to such a degree that the ref calls a halt to proceedings. buchanan was one of durans best opponents - who says? Mr R Duran thats who.
steve johnstone starts off well enough but is unravelled by durans relentless attacks come the 6th round. steve is dropped just once and decides to sit it out for the 10 count.
DURAN KO 6
two duran victims - one hypo, one real - duke it out...

Determined to give BOTP's contributor HarryGreb's words meaning, Buchannan comes in firing on all cylinders. HOwever surprisingly it turns into a bit of a chess match for the first 4 rounds when Steve decides that he's ready to take it up a notch. Which is exactly what Ken was hoping for and puts Steve down for the first time in the 5th. Steve gets the message and attempts to operate defensively but Ken is having none of it and takes every round into the 10th where Steves' crew tell the Ref that it's all over, and it's Miller time for Ken.
Mike McCallum vs Joe Calzaghe at Super Middle. McCallum somehow finds the courage to "step up" a weight class to face the monster that is Calzaghe.

Calzaghe wins a close UD based on activity. McCallum cries that he was ducked by Robinson from the womb.
Mormeck vs a clean Bert Cooper, say from the tillman fight.

KEN BUCHANAN V STEVE JOHNSTONE
Did YOU see the fight
The only round in which Buchanan offered ANYTHING resembling offence, was the round in hwihc he was low-blowed
The young Duran outjabbed, outfought and outsmarted Buchanan all night long
Anyway, Mormech is way too muscled and slow, ad is just plain average against Cooper who, not exactly Ali himself in terms of speed, outboxed him and a devestating right hand in the 7th puts Mormech down
Amir Khan, fresh off his win over Marco Antonio Barrera, has one final fight at 135, against Stevie Johnstone, the night that he outclassed big-punching Colombian Dairo Esalas

I meant calling him Johnstone. I've seen Johnson a ton of times. This is the first Johnstone for me, not busting balls, I really got a kick out of it.
