Re: Conor Benn - What Next?

UKAD rules say strict liability so 2 year ban for Benn at least , no excuses can see that's why they are appealing.
That’s not quite accurate. Dillian Whyte failed a UKAD test but got off and fighters have failed a UKAD test and had much shorter bans (Enzo Maccarinelli as an example).Floydendizer wrote: ↑25 Sep 2023, 13:27 UKAD rules say strict liability so 2 year ban for Benn at least , no excuses can see that's why they are appealing.
Yep, VADA tests.Controversial wrote: ↑24 Sep 2023, 13:13VADA tests?jwfg wrote: ↑24 Sep 2023, 06:16There was a mandatory test after the fight and he was tested several times in the build up.Stevieaber wrote: ↑24 Sep 2023, 04:11 Does anyone know if the slippery little f**cker got tested for last nights fight?

No the circumstances aren't identical to Benn's but it demonstrates that some sports are serious about suitably penalizing drug cheats.

I did quite admire how he managed to use massive dosages of HGH yet still resemble a blob, you really do need to live terribly to be that lardy on more than 4ius of HGH a day.polecateddy wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 16:00 It’s interesting with Miller now he might be trying to avoid any further bans, just how god damn ordinary he looks. Some genetic elites will always respond better to the sauce than others.
I know guys that shove a load of gear in and still look like shit. Diet and genetics play a huge part. Plus it depends how you train, if your main focus is strength you won’t look like a bodybuilder.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 16:26I did quite admire how he managed to use massive dosages of HGH yet still resemble a blob, you really do need to live terribly to be that lardy on more than 4ius of HGH a day.polecateddy wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 16:00 It’s interesting with Miller now he might be trying to avoid any further bans, just how god damn ordinary he looks. Back in 2016-2017, he was fighting at around 275lbs, then in his last fight against Browne, he was 333lbs.Monzon83 wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 17:53I know guys that shove a load of gear in and still look like shit. Miller should look better though given he’s a boxer which is a cardio based sport. I suspect he trains like a lazy slob, eats shit and bangs in the gear trying to make up for that which won’t prevent him looking like marshmallow.

What frustrates me immensely is how those with money can use the law to silence those caught cheating.
I am totally convinced a LOT of people have been caught in the past but injunctions have prevented revealations in the press.
What is really shockingly outrageous concerning Camerons situation is I am totally convinced he is supremely talented.wrighty wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 08:27The treatment of Alvarez and Liam Cameron were night and daySpud wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 08:16 In answering the thread title I a mega anti drugs.

I know it's different jurisdictions but a Cameron gets caught with a party drug in trace amounts, massive ban and they try to destroy him, canelo gets caught cheating with a ped, 6 months because everyone is getting rich from himSpud wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 08:39be

What a horrible waste of talent.
People could have looked after him, including me and for that I am sorry

I do too mate. I was always a poor dieter, even when I did weight class strongman, but even I never had the sausageness of Miller, and I was quite sausage-esque. He really must eat cheeseburgers alll day. Might as well go full Butterbean and just be superfat and leave the PEDS, probably healthier. Ironically Esch is loads healthier these days.Monzon83 wrote: ↑19 Oct 2023, 17:53I know guys that shove a load of gear in and still look like shit. Diet and genetics play a huge part. me too. He comes across well in interviews too, I'd be so bitter at the injustice of it all my eyes would bleed. I hope he does well and earns some money and achieves whatever he can do and wants.Spud wrote: ↑20 Oct 2023, 13:21Absolutely

I hope Liam makes it… it would be fantastic
