To all the good men on the forum, I'm constantly accused of being in love with Fury because of his roots, maybe I just like him as a fighter? Check the history, I was telling everyone for years he'd make it. I'm just giving Ali G a taste of his own medicine.

Wilder second best? Can we honestly say he would have beaten decent versions of:

AJ
Usyk
Chisora
Wlad
Parker
Povetkin
Pulev

Blimey, I’d give Hughie a chance against him.

He only got near Fury because he was coming off a long layoff, or not in shape.

The second fight is the true form guide there.

Shocking mate..

He could just throw prospects in there at least.. We know it's gonna be a cheap undercard already.

Look at the Khan-Brook undercard, wasn't the best, just filler stuff. The main event was a big enough fight, just like this one is.

Why do BT feel the need to make such a strong-armed statement? It's redundant and broadcasters miss the point, I think. Streamers and PPV buyers are different types of people. Streamers stream because they either can't afford to buy PPV or refuse to. If there was no stream available they'd either swerve the fight or listen on the radio, they wouldn't buy the PPV and aren't lost customers.

You've hit it on the head Jim. 100% right.

The fights I have streamed in the past, I was never going to purchase them regardless. If I cant find a stream, YouTube the next day and follow an rbr.

They not the only one, Dana White comes out and threatens fans/customers every once in a while. Where they can block certain websites, these streamers will just move the URL.

and as we've found previously, they really can't do anything can they?

Frank has said it’ll be announced on Monday. Although we’ve heard that before it’d be crazy if it’s not announced next week. He said they’ve suffered from people dropping out which I find strange as they never officially announced anyone.

It’ll most likely be poor as they’ll be wanting to cover costs and in reality it probably won’t impact the PPV buys.
Good old Frank. Not a peep.

You'd have thought that they'd be able to maximise returns from advertisers by giving them projections as to how many people were watching it, not just PPV but streams. That's another reason I think Whyte is mental for not promoting it. Surely the bloke has sponsors? Surely he could have coined in a decent wedge from JD Sports or North Face or something by brokering a deal to wear certain things at press conferences and stuff and made his coin that way? It seems a bit short sighted by him business wise. This would have been a big stage for him with regards to anything like that.

I saw an interview with Don Charles saying that as a fan he felt a bit short changed by the lack of build up, with Whyte and Fury going back and forth at each other. I'm inclined to agree. To be robbed of a fun build up, and to only watch Fwank busting blood vessels and Fury doing his somewhat tired Gypsy King schtick, it's a let down and for what? Regardless of his purse and his lack of share in PPV sales, Whyte could have milked this for himself in so many other areas.

The more I think about it, the more I think he shot himself in the foot many times over with this.

That's a lot of money.
I don't quite know how I'm supposed to watch it because none of those options are available to me.
In these situations Sky Box Office usually does a down under deal.
But seriously - no undercard yet?
£25 and no undercard, dreaming!
