I still think he's dangerous, but relegated to the Hide school of undersized power-reliance that falls short at the top. It was always a roll of the dice if he'd land his Breazealemaker against AJ or Fury, but now seems very unlikely.

I've gone from giving him a 50:50 chance to 10:90. Although I did say I thought big-event pressure might get to him, and it feels fair to say it did. Also got to Fury, but his style's much better-suited to ironing out early-round nerves. For that reason I think Whyte needs to find success ASAP, else it quickly threatens to get away from him on attrition.

Fury's the favourite for good reason, but I'm hoping Whyte catches him so it turns into a fun watch.

Not many of note, its grim for everyone.
-Usyk beat AJ.
-AJ beat parker, and ruiz.
-Whyte beat parker (bullshit head clash though.), chisora (sketchy decision though), Rivas (is he good though)

But noone else (and noone elses fans) are claiming there 1 and 2 just because they fought each other 3 times and there was a fight of the year, fight of the year is great but it dosent always mean your good, it does means you got hit a lot.....

For me, Fury and usyk are tied 1 and 2 And cant be split unless they fight each other, or start adding some depth of quality to there resume.

Well I'm pretty sure AJ's fans were proclaiming him number 1 prior to his defeats. Prime or not, dethroning a 39 year old Wlad who had ruled the roost for a decade is the best win for my money. The man who beat the man and all that. Also if you're going to include Chisora going life and death against Chisora, it's probably fair to give that as a primed fighter for Fury too given he did without breaking a sweat.

This era isn't so dissimilar to other eras. In the 90s, none of the American champions in Bowe, Holyfield, Moorer and Foreman would face Lennox for 7 long years. An undisputed fight would be a massive event much like back then.

Then again if AJ loses and Fury wins I wonder which fights generates more money. Fury-Joshua or Fury-Usyk?

Fury's performance in Chisora 2 is the best in his career by a fair margin IMO. He was awesome that night and won't ever come close to being that good again.
