I will say Im surpised I have not peaked at the list before. It is full of some real hardcore boxing writers and not just the ones that may have done somthing outside boxing that made them famous.
I am working like a mad dog on the Bio as we speak. That list is making it all seem worth the effort. I did have to stop and sell a car. Got to pay the rent.

Sell the car! Work always comes first. We are all focused on Hype Igoe, so I'll make sure it happens this year (on the ballot, at least). As soon as I have the date of the selection commitee meeting, I'll pass it on to you, and that's when I'll need the bio. Make it as long or short as you like.
The last time I submitted a bio supporting a potential inductee, he ended up in the Hall of Fame. It would make for an even better banquet for our "Classic American West Coast Boxing" regulars, if one of our own reps an inductee (As John Bardelli did last year, when his father "Young Firpo" was inducted.)
We'd love for you to join us at one of our Boxrec group tables. With a little luck we'll have Frank & Connie, Roger & Maria, Randy & Jeri plus our friend Ed Hernandez, Pug, Bruce, John Bardelli, Scartissue and his Pop, hopefully Tom Ray, with real luck Bennie, plus more.
