In my personal opinion the Ukrainian already is there level with Holyfield. Or at least the Holyfield that defeated Buster Douglas and George Foreman.

Nah, Usyk has got Fury by the short and curlies here. The only way out is for Fury to accept the fight, otherwise he's going to look a right knob--and I don't even think his nuthuggers can overlook the blatant duck.

I don't think Fury will back out from an injury or otherwise. It's not really his style. The only time I've ever seen Fury get out of a fight was because of his uncle Hughie passing away. I can't even think of a time when a fight was ever postponed due to an injury involving Tyson Fury unless it was his opponent pulling out.

I hope he's been training the passed few weeks. I might be wrong but he actually looks thinner than he has been but that could just be because of the clothes he wears at different times. He's either got to come in lighter on his feet to be able to beat Usyk with high volume jabs, or hes got to come in really heavy and just rag doll Usyk. I'm hoping the former rather than the latter, because it would be nice to see Fury at 257-260 and bouncing around again.

Usyk will not come out of the ring as the same man. Fury will hurt him badly.

Let's hope we hear confirmation today.


Usyk has injured Fury quite significantly already here. Fury has a narcissist need for adoration and attention .. Usyk has been stealing his thunder and fans the last 18mths or so; this has just accelerated it more, which will hurt the mentally fragile Fury lots.

Fury has fallen from The People's Champion to someone the majority now dislike. His personality won't be able to deal with that.

Pulled out of the Klitschko rematch twice. Once with an ankle injury and once with mental health.

Claimed he had covid before Wilder lll and put the fight back 3 months (training camp wasn’t going well apparently) yet was in a casino days after and all his team went to a UFC fight the same weekend when they would have been isolating if he/they had Covid.

I wonder if Fury's cycling times are improving?

I completely forgot about the covid thing. Anyways, he fought Wilder didn't he? So I wouldn’t worry about him not showing up. As for Klitschko, I reckon an older Vladimir still would have lost had Fury been mentally sound. The fact that Fury blew up to 400 pounds is proof in the pudding that he did mentally go off the rails after the Klitschko fight.

Instead of griping we should be happy the fight is happening. It's basically 7 or 6 weeks away. I would be surprised if something dramatic happened between then and now. Both sides wouldn't have reached out to the WBA telling them that the undisputed is going down unless Fury wanted it.

It goes to show you that managers or promoters don't always get the job done. The fighters made it happen in one conversation through social media on the last day to go. If Wembley is secured, etc I can't see Fury throwing the fight away. Too much has been made. There's no going back now. Win or lose Fury has to show up otherwise it's a knock basically on his gypsy heritage. Or at least I would think so, unless it was some serious injury like broken bones.
