Usyk might be the most likeable fighter of the modern era. I haven't seen anyone who doesn't like him.
Tyson Fury

To recap, Usyk's giving up height, weight and reach, has 3 of the 4 belts, is undefeated, is highly respected and well-liked, and he's willing to go on the road for 30%.
He might not have the physical attributes to beat Fury, but he's really underscoring the rare character he's shown throughout his career with these actions. Win, lose or draw he's on course to go down as a great.
About level with Holyfield if he beats Fury?
In my personal opinion the Ukrainian already is there level with Holyfield. Or at least the Holyfield that defeated Buster Douglas and George Foreman.

Usyk is a proper warrior, what a guy.
Fury…embarrassing for boxing.
100% proper Spartan throwback

Fury absolutely livid that Usyk has accepted
What's it gonna be now injuries or a wobble?
Tbh Usyk has gave Fury an opportunity to look good in all this, he gets the deal he wanted and donated to Ukraine, Fury could've played a blinder, not sure it was intentional mind
He absolutely has to fight him now though, I'll believe it when I see it.

If this does get signed because Fury has been backed into a corner, Fury will get injured 2-3 weeks out.

Fury has gone from one of my favorite boxers and a guy I respected a lot, to someone I can't stand in the space of a few months.
Pure ducker. You can tell he is livid that Usyk has accepted and now backed him into a corner. I expect a few weeks before the fight he'll get an "injury" or his Uncle's, best friend's, cousin's mum will have her caravan burnt down by Brick Top and he'll pull out.

Do .t anyone hold there breath theres a definite injury in camp coming up for Fury personaly i think Usyk shoulfd of told him to go do one then beat Duboi leaving the only credible fight for Fury being Joyce or ruiz both of whom he.ll dodge

Nah, Usyk has got Fury by the short and curlies here. The only way out is for Fury to accept the fight, otherwise he's going to look a right knob--and I don't even think his nuthuggers can overlook the blatant duck.
I used to like Fury, but now I hope Uysk cleans his clock.

I don't think Fury will back out from an injury or otherwise. It's not really his style. The only time I've ever seen Fury get out of a fight was because of his uncle Hughie passing away. I can't even think of a time when a fight was ever postponed due to an injury involving Tyson Fury unless it was his opponent pulling out.
I hope he's been training the passed few weeks. I might be wrong but he actually looks thinner than he has been but that could just be because of the clothes he wears at different times. He's either got to come in lighter on his feet to be able to beat Usyk with high volume jabs, or hes got to come in really heavy and just rag doll Usyk. I'm hoping the former rather than the latter, because it would be nice to see Fury at 257-260 and bouncing around again.

Let's hope we hear confirmation today.
Usyk has injured Fury quite significantly already here. Fury has a narcissist need for adoration and attention .. Usyk has been stealing his thunder and fans the last 18mths or so; this has just accelerated it more, which will hurt the mentally fragile Fury lots.
Fury has fallen from The People's Champion to someone the majority now dislike. His personality won't be able to deal with that.

Or has Fury called Usyk’s bluff and secured an extra 20% of the purse?

Possibly - but at what cost to his brand and mental health?
The Fury brand was quite toxic to the mainstream as it was with the homophobic comments, PED use and Kinahan connection. Increasingly he comes across as obnoxious and a total fake .. his fan base is deserting him en mass.

Pulled out of the Klitschko rematch twice. Once with an ankle injury and once with mental health.
Claimed he had covid before Wilder lll and put the fight back 3 months (training camp wasn’t going well apparently) yet was in a casino days after and all his team went to a UFC fight the same weekend when they would have been isolating if he/they had Covid.

There’s a group of posters who have been slagging him off for months on here whilst defending Joshua. Joshua is struggling to sell a smaller venue. We’ll find out about Fury’s fanbase when tickets go on sale.

The learned people on this forum were urging Fury to sign for 50/50. How much extra money could he earn from ignoring the Forum “experts”?

I completely forgot about the covid thing. Anyways, he fought Wilder didn't he? So I wouldn’t worry about him not showing up. As for Klitschko, I reckon an older Vladimir still would have lost had Fury been mentally sound. The fact that Fury blew up to 400 pounds is proof in the pudding that he did mentally go off the rails after the Klitschko fight.
Instead of griping we should be happy the fight is happening. It's basically 7 or 6 weeks away. I would be surprised if something dramatic happened between then and now. Both sides wouldn't have reached out to the WBA telling them that the undisputed is going down unless Fury wanted it.
It goes to show you that managers or promoters don't always get the job done. The fighters made it happen in one conversation through social media on the last day to go. If Wembley is secured, etc I can't see Fury throwing the fight away. Too much has been made. There's no going back now. Win or lose Fury has to show up otherwise it's a knock basically on his gypsy heritage. Or at least I would think so, unless it was some serious injury like broken bones.

All you and WhiskeyG bang on about are Joshua's tickets sales for Franklin, what's relevance does that have to Fury trying to worm out of the Usyk fight?
You must be a Fury, either that or your one of those gullible idiots who fell for fighting man, mental health advocate schtick
Either way seeing the Fury fanbase on here dwindle to 3 is fkn glorious
Hopefully the fight gets made and Fury gets his cycle right then we have a fight
