The more I think about Conor and I know I am WRONG in wanting it … but I want to see Conor Benn knocked out and severly embarrassed

In my humble opinion I think Hearn and Benn have treated boxing with utter contempt.

But perhaps more frustrating is the public no longer give a **** about the whole saga.

I do think it would be a popular fight if he fights in UK as so many people want to see him lose now.

I feel exactly the same. Hope he gets embarrassed at some point in the near future

I feel guilty in that I make out that I love the sport yet I want to see a fighter. Get embarrassed in a fight?

Think Conor and his “promoter” could have handled this far, far better. It has been done and is continuing to be done. I don’t get the difference? I.e. the “promoter” has had several “fails”. No defense on this scale.

It’s a Tour de France scenario. If they’re on it. I gotta be on it, to beat them.

I want to see Benn scour the world for an easy opponent , go in clean , only to be met by a steroid filled muscleman , who then comes out full of fire , and beats the living shit out of Benn , not only that but i'd love said boxer , and his dad , stuffit lets include his wife trainer and kids , to all jump in the ring and do a dance while Benn is layed out on the floor ,

The Tour de France scenario isn’t necessarily true anymore. The sport bar all this Team Sky ‘marginal gains’ stuff is a lot cleaner now. The Olympics too is so big that no individual is bigger than the event. They excluded Russia for years because of institutional doping. The bigger issue for professional boxing it is effectively a cowboy sport. It’s just too easy to keep cheating.

Benn’s route back to fighting on home soil may have been dealt a blow after UK Anti-Doping and the British Boxing Board of Control won an appeal against the verdict to lift his temporary suspension.

It is believed a decision was communicated last week by the National Anti-Doping Panel, who had cleared Benn to resume boxing in this country back in July. That was challenged by the Board of Control and UKAD, with both parties confirming in August that they were planning to contest the NADP ruling.

Mail Sport understands they have been successful in that protracted process, though it is currently unclear whether the outcome of the appeal could lead to Benn’s British-based suspension being reimposed.

Likewise, it remains to be seen if this 18-month saga, which follows our revelations in October 2022 that Benn had twice tested positive for the banned substance clomifene, could ultimately be heading for the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Both the Board of Control and UKAD declined to comment. Representatives for Benn say no suspension has been ordered and he remains free to fight.
