I like a Walker decision, though you could reverse that readily enough. Walker, for mine, never gets his due. He was a monster.
Okay, a little aside silliness...The two baddest Norris' there ever were --- 12 rounds of Chuck against Terry! 
Oh, &, on the undercard, Marlon Starling matches up against Vernon Forrest at Welter...

Starling keeps the pressure on and gives Forrest hell, but Forrest keeps throwing back and manages to eek out a close, possibly split and controversial decision. The fight would somewhat resemble Forrest's disputed win over Quartey and Starling's loss to Blocker.

foster had almost no success at heavy, of course it didn't help he was probably fighting in the greatest era of heavys ever. lastarza wasn't too big for a heavy so i like foster to win by ko late in this fight.

Haugen had a little more in the tank than Gatti, imo. Both are alot alike, considering they only lost to the absoloute best of their eras. But I still think Haugen wins a decision. But it would be a down right FIGHT!

this is probably the greatest match up of all in this magnificent thread. arguello is almost certainly the fighter who most figures on it and i am sure this one has been posted before...however its such a tuff call, i think it could have gone either way and i can see both men winning but tonight i take alexis to ultimately out think and out smart duran and set him up for a 14th round KO.

Hearns KO6 after dominating every second of every round. Hearns was just a league above Tito IMO.

Very interesting matchup. Mugabi would prefer this be fought in a phone booth, but not being the case, DLH wins an oh so close affair with brilliant counter punching and movement. Mugabi leaves his mark in the fight though, with thudding punches and relentless pressure.

Bowe gets off the deck to cleanly KO Witherspoon (who's more dispirited than concussed) in round nine. Witherspoon looked as if he could've risen from the second knockdown in the ninth, but was a spent force. Bowe was up at four in round two, & seemed to recover nicely.
Tszyu eeks out a razor-thin decision over Taylor --- precision-punching & harder blows, the reasoning. He struggled plenty with Taylor's speed & activity, but his uncanny timing saw him land repeatedly, & shake Taylor more than once. Tszyu nearly had him down in the eleventh, before Taylor surprisingly rallied to definitively win the last round. Scores read 115-113 (Tszyu), 114-114 (Even), & 115-113 (Tszyu). Duva fumes over the decision.
January, 2007 --- Jermain Taylor vs Floyd Mayweather in a Middleweight match...

Jermain looks good in his offense but misses a lot, he outworks Floyd for most of the fight before tiring and letting control of the fight slip away from and losing the late rounds but still does enough to take the decision.
Jermain by very close UD.

Diaz is all heart with limited skill, but that's plenty good enough to beat Dorin. Diaz TKO9.

Debatable fight. I think Mancini gets off the deck early to eek out a decision. Perhaps majority.

McGirt outclasses Ward and wins a wide decision.
Mayorga's free-swinging, persistent pressure forces Judah into "survival mode" for most of the fight. Judah has his moments, but doesn't open up enough to assert himself and allows Mayorga to take a clear decision.

Max baer KO's Buddy in a cautious to start with fight,
as soon as things get messy, it is Max that drops Buddy
with a power right hand.
Cooney is able to put Coetzer to sleep, after himself
going to the canvas. It was all raw power from Cooney
that got him by.
The South African Sanders is able to end the fight
in the 8th with a massive shot that fells the big
American.
Archie Moore Vs Gene Tunney @ 168lbs
and
Marvin Hagler Vs Sam Langford @ 160lbs.
Both 12 rounds

Langford was a bad dude. I wouldn't be surprised if he swings it. I'll take him, but I wish he'd been a slightly more modern fighter, lent to film. Still, that resume is shocking...
HW, 15 Rounds...this'll be a close one, IMO. Gene Tunney & Evander Holyfield!

Tunney was one slick SOB, and Holy usually had trouble with a good jab. I'll take Gene in a close decision.

Wow, great fight. Mayweather had shoddy hands, & De La Hoya, though monstrous, was pretty green. My gut says experience wins out, & Mayweather out-thinks De La Hoya for a competitive --- thoug clear --- decision. I'll console myself with the belief that result turns around if they meet at the height of their respective 140lb. tenures
