I'm a bit suspicious of some of these new posters suddenly appearing to complain about Primetime. Wouldn't surprise me if this was an orchestrated attempt to sabotage this new venture. I've had no problem and am enjoying the show on TV. Don't get me wrong, I know some of you must be having genuine problems. Make sure you keep your Sky box connected to your 'phone line.

I am a big fan of Semtex (and The Outlaw for that matter) but to say they are bigger stars nationally than Carl Froch is just utter jibberish Ant.

Funny you should mention that as Primetime is owned by Dirty Desmond.

Right.....
That sounds like a bizzare therory, I doubt 3-4 new posters are going to bring down the company - what's more likely to bring them down is the mess that tonights been.
Try and get through yourself to the phone lines and see how long you're on hold for, people are furious and complaining about this clogging up the phone lines....
Sky customer services has been so overwhelmed with calls that they've put up a dedicated message stating that there's nothing they can do about it and to contact primetime....
I personally got to this forum by searching for 'primetime' in google forum search then viewing posts in the last 24 hours, doing this you can also see other people on forums distressed about this, the bolow link being one of this.
http://www.livefight.com/boxingforum/in ... 47.15.html
I merely registered to vent my anger and incase someone else had come up with a solution.

This is exactly what someone who was sabotaging primetime would say.

Want me to take you pictures of what i've dubbed the sky 'blue screen of death' on my set as evidence once the non-free-to-air service starts again?
(I presume your kidding though)
I'm praying that they're going to fix it for the Froch fight though.
Also what motive could you have to 'sabotage' the service? If something is a good product then it sellls itself.

It's working for me now!
If you have it stuck in your sky planner and are unable to delete it then do the following:
1. Switch off at the mains
2. Holdin Left and Right navigation buttons, switch power on and hold for about 30 seconds until Green play light comes on
3. Press 'Select'
4. The 'play-light' will then rotate clockwise while the resetting procedure takes place. This may take up to 3 minutes. (this timing could vary if there are no programmes stored in the hard drive)
5. It then reverts to 'Standby'
6. Leave the machine for 2 minutes while hard drive reformats.
Please Note:
THE MACHINE WILL LOSE ALL STORED PROGRAMMES IF THIS PROCESS IS FOLLOWED.
Turn it on and go to ch 480 and procced as usual and it should work.
Enjoy the fight!

tried. still not working.
it's a dark day for big mick. surely the pricks at primetime should bite the bullet and turn the encryption off now, no way anyone is going to use their service for any other fights leaving this blue screen sh it on.

FIXED IT!!
if you're on an old sky box (i.e. not sky +) do the following...
Press Services
4
then 0, then 1, then Select (this accesses the secret menu)
choose New Installation
at the call back screen, this SKY to exit and choose channel 480.

Quick turn to channel 480 - fight is showing free to air.

The Froch fight is still showing on free to air on channel 480 and it's about to start. Think someone has forgotten to flick the switch that means only subscribers can watch it.
Hope it stays on cos I've paid naff all.

From what I ready here, sounds like they might struggle to sell much in the future. I was low on confidence, so didn't buy this. What people said serves to confirm my decision!

Problems with pausing are often due to your own broadband. Mine can be between 100KBPS and a mega a second.
