I used to work with Irwin's dad. He told me it was a complete robbery and that after Colin got the decision he was taken out of the arena on a stretcher due to exhaustion. Obviously he is going to biased, but he was normally pretty sanguine about things. I mean, he had no excuses for the Ingle loss, other than they moved him from early on the bill to last and kept him waiting around for hours etc.

I could never warm to Ingle, I'm sure he's a nice fella but just could never really get into him. I don't think his trainer (Pollard) helped.

John Thaxton and his mates were sitting in our seats at the Mitchell-Katsidis fight a few months ago. For the sake of a quiet life we left it but there was loads of us and eventually when everyone turned up we had to ask him to move. It was right in the middle of Chisora vs Williams and I don't think he was too happy about it but none of the lads I was with knew who he was and didn't give a f*ck, just told us to budge up. At the end of the day he should have just sat down in his own f*cking seat, shouldn't he?

But despite all that I did respectfully point out I knew who he was and was polite because even though he's tiny I'm sure he could kick my arse easily enough if he wanted. He moved anyway. Sit in your own seat next time please, Mr.Thaxton!

I was also running a restaurant in Millbank, London where Lennox Lewis was the guest of Honour at a party for London/Nigeria rugby club. I was introduced to him like 3 times and it became a bit embrassing. I did have a chance to talk one on one with him and kept the subject to Canada(where i had lived to) rather than boxing to stop him walking away. When the conversation came to an end i did say i wish he would shut Bowe up for go which made him laugh
