Roman-Alnuzalli was a good bout...Alnuzalli looked good early on but I think may have been a bit too defensive and began to get caught and later on Roman landed some nice shots...I think it was close...

The most hyped bout of the night was rather uneventful (178-O)...Marcus Browne has sparred wit DeVaun recently and it seemed like they had some respect for each other...that and DeVaun was determined not to get caught with a big shot...the fight was relatively boring with Marcus winning off pitty pat and a good shot here and there...Lee jus didn't work enough and basically fought safe...

Prince Slaughter looked good against Mancilla...Mancilla did some work late but Prince held on...he won Novice Fighter of the Tournament...

Cruz-Mellone Spence I think fought last year...Spence brought the pressure but Cruz is too skilled...good fight though

Herve Duroseau outboxed and controlled Raul Nuncio in there bout...he seemed to hurt Nuncio to the body in the 2nd and 3rd round...the first round was competitive but Duroseau turned it on afterwards...this may have been the most eventful fight of the evening outside of the 114 Open bout...

Nisa Rodriguez won a good fight against LaTarisha Fountain...

I just walked in when that bout started...Michael Stoute seemed to win it pretty clearly from what I saw, I know him he's a good fighter...I think he really should be 114 but his skills make up for it...

I honestly had Nuncio winning, I thought he hit Duroseau more than he hit him in every round I had it Two Rounds to One Nuncio. It was an exciting fight non-the less. Congrats to all tonights fighters they did there thing.

Yea...I thought Raul won the first round but Duroseau landed the more effective harder shots in the next two...Raul seemed to be hurt or stunned by a shot or two as well...Duroseau seemed to be the aggressor as well...

I'll have to wait til MSG shows it...

But it was a better fight than Browne-Lee at 178...

152 Open
Christopher Galeano (Mendez BC) def. Jeremy Fiorentino (Win Or Die BC) 4-1

Good matchup of contrasting styles. Galeano, height and straight, telling punches from the southpaw stance where the difference. Galeno post-fight interview was very touching and emotional.

132 Open
Monday's show

Marcos Suarez II (Atlas Cops & Kids) def. Louis Cruz (Atlas Cops & Kids) 5-0

Highly disappointing effort for both boxers, who are close friends, but on the strength of a strong second round, Suarez got the victory. I just don't understand why their coach would let both his boxers box in the same weight class knowing that it would be an awkward situation if they both reached the finals.

201+ Open
Iegor Plevako (Win Or Die BC) def. Elijah Thomas (Willis Ave BC) RSC-2

Plevako, too much a class and skills for Thomas. The stopppage victory earned him Sugar Ray Robinson Award for most outstanding open boxer. Would have like to see his fight Roberto Morban.

I have recording them and have past year if anybody need something, just send me a PM.

Michael Stoute (123 Novice) was very impressive in his bout...I didn't really catch it when I was at the Garden. His opponent barely even touched him the whole 3 rounds...he's a little undersized IMO but he should transition well into the open class...

Duroseau-Nuncio was a good scrap but Duroseau landed the cleaner shots although it was very competitive...seemed like his punches had more on them throughout the bout as well...

Christopher Galeano looked very good against Jeremy Fiorentino (152 Open)...pretty much just the 1-2 down the pipe was workin for Galeano...he was smart and used his reach and even buckled Jeremy in the last round...I was favoring Fiorentino since he won the last time they fought...

Cristino Ceballo fought just the way he had to fight to defeat Patrick Day (141 Open)...it was a close bout but Ceballo made Day miss a lot of shots with his superb footwork and movement and seemed to land the cleaner blows and had a good final round...

Would love to hear anyone else's thoughts after seeing some of the bouts on TV...

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the fights, and the judges got all the decisions "right". On a side note, seems like every boxers MSG "featured", most of them lost.

Your right, how ironic...I guess they better interview more ppl next year...

I was suprised they interviewed Mark Sinatra and not Joseph Williams at 201...being that Williams won it before in the novice class and won the Metros this year...thought they should have interviewed someone at 152 and 165 Open in my opinion...

Jeez - I didn't able to watch this matches.. i heard it was pretty awesome..
is there any bidding with the attires they used? e.g., gloves, boots etc.. it will be so much nicer to have memorabillas of this fight even i wasn't there..
