DeGale is doing the stalking and pressing the fight. Groves is trying to nick rounds off the back foot. 3rd round was close.

i think degale is gonna beat groves at his own game like he did smith. groves looks like webb last week, too much movement & nerves.

Got to be 3-1 Groves right now. DeGale hasn't won 2.

Well, this is fascinating. DeGale switched tactics, tucking right up and marching forward to try to quarter the ring and unload with heavy, short hooks and uppercuts. Limited success, though.

Groves's round.

DeGale should have had at least one point off -- and possibly a DQ. Degale used the shoulder in 2 and the elbow in 3, and both were blatant fouls

10-9 G

29-28 groves.

I fear Groves increasing confidence will be his undoing though. Great job so far.

Engrossing stuff!

DeGale landed a nice jab or two early, but Groves quickly reestablished dominance by unloading with combinations and spinning away. He's comprehensively outboxng degale, who isn't getting his punches off at all, and doesn't look like he knows what to do with Groves.

10-9 groves

39-37

3-2 GG, funny seeing the white guy as the runner against a black guy.
