Not in this key board fight so leave us out ha

don't you get started
I still like Askin, even after his fight with Dickinson. I think a rematch would be close. I think both beat Shane
Simmons is an interesting one, maybe stick him in with Dolan first. Someone good, but not quite
there

Dickinson v McPhilbinn for the vacant title is the only fight that should be made. JLD is the best cruiser in the country (discounting Afolabi) by a distance

As said in interview after the Williams fight is dream was to win a British title and like most fighters who win the title he wants to keep going forward. I think ur comment was fair but like I said b4 he had a chest infection a week b4 and thats why he could breath after the 3rd round also is plan was to av enzo out in 4 which really in did but let's not go their again lol. One thing shane has took from the fight is that enzo did not outbox him fair enough he won the fight but there was no round where he was outboxed. Also let's not forget the fact shane only had two weeks notice for the Williams fight in is first 12 rounder then 8 weeks later he boxed a ex world champion in a VOLUNTARY defense that takes some doing .
Thanks. One serious question. Is there any chance that Shane just got caught up in the 'everyone loves Shane the pisshead' jerk off that was going around the time and just played up to it as he thought it was what people wanted to hear?. Things may not have been as ridiculous as what was painted (not brilliant, but not Olly Reed) but not being experienced in the media side, it left him open to the points in my article?
Shane trys to act himself my dad always taught us to be respectful in winning and losing come in out with benders comments is nerves i think because when you watch the interview he came out with something very serious after about is coach and long term freind died 3 weeks b4 the fight. He is a joker but thats why i and a lot of ppl love him. Also the enzo fight was only is 3rd post fight ever so he is still learning.

I honestly think shane would stop askin. I know he would lose to jld and it was a joke that askin started fav to many ppl looking at records and not the facts. As for jld he is one tough cookie would be a very good fight as shane likes fighting the taller man ( fought tyson fury 3 times n the amateurs ). At least we would av the two best crusier in the ring. Cue billy nelson haha.

totally agree pal he does and the best thing is both men want that title so much. Also when of shane main sparring partners is tyrone wright who beat jld.

Shane will learn about media. And he has a good starting point, he is a decent fella from what I have seen (never spoken to him but all reports are good)
Media perception is so important though, not just in boxing, but any sport, especially the individual ones. Look at Sergio Garcia's comments about not being bothered if he wins a major. Brilliant for him, but the reaction of fans is to not care either. Look at Monty, gutted he never won one, and we share the pain. Garcia's attitude stops people enjoying the ride with him. Why should they care too much if he doesn't care? Simple human logic.
Those who know Shane say he is 100% focused on getting the title back. That is the media coverage he should be getting in future. The fact he is here to stay, not just some lovable journeyman who is around for six months, who is getting cash for his family and loves the beer.
Thanks for engaging with me on this one...shows you are a gent.
