Fury is our best hope now, he boxed well last fight, ingood shape, moved well, in and out an away. Price got too close too soon. Thompson should have been on the end of the jab for at least 6 rounds until he lost his will and his heart.

When Thompson came in that heavy and at the ripe old age of 41 - I expected him to fold after a few rounds and then head off to London, for some holiday shopping.
I bet he can't belief his luck that a harmless looking counter-cuff could do so much damage, to an undefeated Prospect.
Thompson is now being linked with any other upcoming fighter, as they see him as the perfect opponent to bash-up inorder to jump up the rankings.
One things for sure - 'The Tiger' won't be forgetting this holiday.

If Tony had been taken out by that shot we'd all be crying fix, dive, he just came for the check. It was awful awful punch. At least Garcia you see him get full leverage when he sparked Khan. That looked like the type of punch that people throw when the ref is about to say break, totally innocous looking.

imo price got hit damn hard at the side of the head/temple. Imo he was doing rather good up until that.

I wish people would drop comparing the Thompson punch to the one landed by Garcia on Khan. Garcia landed a full weight power punch (and he is a banger) which practically spun Khan around. Thompson landed a clip. I still think Thompson may landed a flush uppercut before the ear shot but the replays are inconclusive and it was not picked up by the commentary team.
If an uppercut did land first the Price may not be as fragile as the clip to the ear made him look. time will tell.

Yep, Fury was caught with a BOMB of an overhand right, flush on the chin. Even Chuck Norris would've felt that. No issue that he got floored more issue that his defence let him down. Different issue with Price because it's boxing especially HW boxing and eventually in your career someone with punch you in the face. It`s not about whether you get knocked own or not, it`s about how you can get up and fight on.
Larry Holmes once got poleaxed by Ernie Shavers by a massive punch that would indeed have knocked out a horse. He somehow got up and stopped Shavers in the 11th.
Calzaghe has been put down a few times, but each time his head was clear and he went on to win. That is the definition of a good chin.

Without a doubt Price will get KO'd again he has a glass jaw, glass ears, glass head.
My mother used to clip me around the ear harder than what Thompson hit him, and when he got up I thought he was doing a impression of Peter Crouch!

At last someone who is saying what I thought when I was watching it. I was amazed by the lack of jab from Price the Klitchkos have laid the bluepring for how to keep hold of the title & that is to work behind the jab.

Surely only someone who hates boxing and wants it to die would urge a young giant to adopt the Klitschko's deadly boring, safety-first vaginal style of fighting and comatize us all another 10 years?

Anyone that says that cuff up the side of Prices head was hard enough to fell that big giant an make him do the chicken dance,ether knows FA about boxing or are just blind Price nut huggers .
If the Cat wasn't out of the bag before then it is now,Smart fighters if they fight Price will wanna exploit that weakness for sure ...i bet anyone here that as soon as hes stepped up again in class he gets KOed again in similar fashion ! bet ya.
Put it this way i wonder what odds you would get with a bookie on price going his next five fights without getting put down or KOed ?

In all fairness to Team Fury and a few decent posters on here ,we all said Price chin was suspect .
I never forget Tysons comment in one interview that in the AMs David Price had been on the floor more times than an epileptics set of front door keys
