Not really! People would know Malignaggi would have very little chance of winning as he has no punching power and to beat khan you have to have a decent dig I think unless you're a truely elite boxer like Mayweather or something and even Mayweather would struggle with Khans style I think.

He does batter most fighters but Adamek was particularily battered in that fight and was buckled from every half decent shot he got hit with and thats weird for Adamek with his normally granite chin. He's not really big enough to be a heavweight.

Sky bet are still offering evs on Garcia if he and khan fight. Tuck in.

same old khan, still looks clueless. i think its time that we all woke up and realised that khans trainer ( and his previous one) take too much credit from the skills of their best fighters. whatever andre ward has , i think its safe to say ,comes from him and not his trainer. we all know that khan cant think beyond the end of his nose, but the trainer has done nothing to address khans defensive frailties. next up a world title fight!!!! team khan better be hoping that malignaggi is still a champ come december, cos thats the only way he s gonna avoid another humiliating defeat. its also glaringly obvious that the power he used to posses when fighting old men, has beens, and migets, seems to evaporate into thin air , when faced with any kind of live opponent.
the ref was bought and paid for, the arena was half empty, and the commentary team were just laughable. its fukken bad news when tyson fury can take the piss by telling it how it is. the khan cheerleaders must be taking lessons from the A- farce mob when they keep meeting up in the laast chance saloon.

Virgil Hunter has been with Ward since he was 13 or something so he's clearly influenced him. Fighters clearly have their own fighting style/DNA though which I think is just their personalities reflected in there fighting styles.

Lamont Peterson and Danny Garcia both beat Khan, Julio Diaz has him rocked and running every round... Going back almost every fighter has rocked Khan including a lot of poor quality opposition on the way up like Michael Gomez and Willie Limond... He hardly looked good against Paul McCloskey and was only one step up from Carlos Molina... Yet people still talk about Mayweather having problems with Khan...? They arre leagues apart. Floyd has a good chin and defence, would make Khan miss and time him spitefully and basically just beat him up all night night. I think Mayweather has more than enough pop and smarts to handle Khan very very easily.

Completely disagree Columbo. The anoraks like us on the forum would know but you think the general boxing public, the type of people who were in Sheffield last night, would know/care? How would a Khan/Diaz (who the general public wouldn't know if they tripped up on) fight sell more than a Malignaggi fight? Especially seeing as though Paulie is a lot more well known on these shores, a good talker, and has actually gone on a decent run since their last clash.
