Some reporter once asked Galento what he thought about Shakespeare, (this was in the run up to the Louis fight) and Galento replied something like ' whos dat! i never heard of him! must be one of those Europeon heavyweights that keep coming over here!... well let him come! I'll moider da bum!!!'.
I would have loved to meet Galento.
He was 5 feet 9 tall and weighed about 230 to 240 pounds!.

Wouter I knew who is Tony Galento, but I was asking about Gus Dorazio who lasted 2 rounds with Joe Louis for Louis' defense of his title on Feb 17, 1941. Can you answer my question about Gus Dorazio, Silkov? Please help me and find out.

Kovit, I have an updated height for Eddie Cotten who you asked me about a while back..... he was 5 feet 11 and 3 quarters of an inch tall..... this is 100% accurate I believe!..... 8) :roll: :TU: :wink: :lol:
