I had tickets to the original announced date and as I was coming over from Ireland lost money on the flights, hotel allowed cancellation beforehand so that was ok.
The real sickener to me and anyone else who had booked is the fact that with both the Fury and the Charr fights been cancelled Eventim do not refund booking fees which over both fights adds up to almost 500k and that figure doesn't include the un-refundable postage costs for each ticket holder

the picture does not indicate haye is verp poorly as has been described. he has an 02 cannulae sat slightly up his nose which just augments the air he breathes. his right arm is in a special combi sling type think. the drip in his left hand is capped which tells us he is drinking fluids etc ok.
as for 5 hours surgery.....complete, toss. A shoulder replacement takes 2 hours at most. the majority of minimally invasive shoulder types of surgery take 40 min - 90 min job. Im guessing the 5 hours if from leaving the ward and getting back there, thats realistic.

I'm lest vested than I used to be but I will point out to those who strongly believe Haye "obliterates" Fury, and those who proclaim its all about "levels" or perhaps point to Fury being knocked over by Cunningham.
Haye was on the floor from a cuff from the French cruiserweight on which most of his reputation has been built. That remains his signature performance.
I thought Valuev beat him, I didn't see the Sugar Ray Leonard genius everyone else applied to that performance.
Haye is a brave guy. He fought Valuev, took some guts for a Cruiser except a 45 year old Holyfield had already done it and got jobbed. So did Ruiz and of course the fella with hepitatus did it with far more engagement than Haye...before Haye.
Beyond that what do we have, Barrett, Bonin, Harrison, Chisora and his sham versus Klitschko. Murderers row. Michael Sprott could beat the first three now.
But all that aside, and even accepting the consensus that Haye is faster, hits harder, more experienced, better pedigree etc - it doesn't mean shit if his hearts not in it.
And one thing you can say about Fury - regardless of opponent, his preparation, fitness, lack of experience etc - he loves a fight and is the best fighter I've seen when he's fucked. Think he has natural reserves of guts Haye, at this point, simply doesn't have.
Don't doubt Haye's injured.
But I think he fancies ONE more FIGHT with all the PRIZES on the line and Haye KNOWS his body is failing and his heart isn't in it.
Fury doesn't offer PRIZES or an easy knock over.
Time to sort the shoulder out once and for all. Fight Klitschko in May just before the World Cup.

I'm not Fury's biggest fan but I have to say I do feel for him here.
He was basically a week away from earning £5m prior to Haye's first pull out and now the fight isn't happening at all. God knows how much the guy must have spent on that Belgian training camp also. Probably about £100k at least when sparring fees, travel costs, gym costs etc are factored in.

But the difference is that Haye has probably made about 15-20m in his career whereas Fury would barely have made a tenth of that and probably will never get the chance again. He certainly wouldn't earn anything like 5m if he fought a Klitschko without a belt.
By the way, I feel sorry for Haye also but I'm just saying I feel for Fury since he's missed out on the payday of a lifetime.
