He used the money from big brother to pay for his constituency office, instead of claiming it as expenses as most MPs do.
Lol, well said.

Then how has he paid for it the rest of the time he's been an MP and not in Big Brother?

According to some posters mindset, maybe Sadam Hussain took out a trust fund for him. We can be very hypercritical.

Or we could be a little bit enquiring and not overly cynical and imagine that he claimed expenses for his office for the rest of his term as an MP and the thing with the Big Brother money was a little bit of a stunt,

He did say that he paid out of his own pocket and challenged his enemies to prove otherwise, no one as done it yet.

Didn't he claim the cost of christmas cards back from the expenses body? in 2009 he claimed £136,390 for office and staffing costs.

Ricky Burns never sent that. The guy is a Celtic fan from, Coatbridge. Doubt he would be saying God save the Queen and the State of Israel. I doubt Ricky even knows where Israel is. He would probably guess it's a club in Bathgate. If there is any truth that these emails came from Morrison then he is out of his mind and needs to be binned. Could be he's going senile.

One thing that is lost on me a bit is the apparent reverence, or perception of, regarding Morrison. To me, an armchair fan, he's a long time minor manager promoter in the British boxing scene. He occasionally has a British champ but - Ricky aside - that's about it. The way Fwank talks about him, you'd think it was Don Corleone or something.
I think Morrison has always been associated with gangland Glasgow. His name pops up a lot in Arthur Thompsons story and Paul Ferris has all but named him a few times for asking him to slash Gary Jacobs.
Alex was defo a hard man in his day. Never a gangster though he mixed in circles where it was advantageous to let people know you were not to be taken for a c*nt. As for the claims by certain parties. Most of that stuff occurred in one place only.......the fantasy palace of their mind. Not the street of Glasgow. If allegedly had crossed Thompson at any point he'd be currently helping support a fly over on the M8.

If so, what a shame he is reduced to posting nasty stuff on Facebook, and being publicly mocked as a saddo by the man who is now going to take him to the cleaners and ruin his reputation and standing. Not exactly going out in a blaze of glory

I think the report said tried, but it was after them dates, when it came to light that MP's abused the expenses with false claims, that Galloway said he would not be claiming, nothing wrong with claiming, but false claims should be dealt with by removing the guilty MP.

Typical example of an old man given access to modern social media outlets. First and most golden rule of the internet........if your going to post racist, bigoted, sexist and slanderous comments then........DON'T USE YOUR OWN F*CKING NAME!
That aside his comments sound so banal you wonder if booze or medication might be involved..........

What has the world come to when slagging off people who believe in fairytales is deemed "racist"?
Nobody has the right to not be offended.
Galloway is also an attention whore, nothing he says or does should be taken seriously, the man takes the contrarian stance all the time because he knows it will get him publicity.

Surely the first rule would be to not actually post such stuff. And the second rule being, if you must, don't use your own name ?!

Morrison and Warren have been in a running legal dispute for 8 months and counting. Both sides have generally kept the lid on it, although Morrison upped the ante by going public with the bounced cheques story last month.
As far as I can see, what has tipped the applecart over the past few days is the involvement of Galloway, and his threat to Warren to speak about the allegedly unpaid purse in the house of commons. That's prompted Warren to go on the offensive and destroy Morrison's standing. He has also commenced legal action against Galloway.
What is really intriguing to me is whether Galloway goes ahead with his threat and raises this unpaid purse issue in the house of commons. He can do so with impunity - warren can't touch him for it (parliamentary priviledge).
Galloway seems to be the kind of person who will dig in and fight back.

Paul Ferris crossed Arthur Thompson in a big way and he's still here to tell the tale, allegedly allegedly has connections of his own to people who are bigger players than Arthur Thompson.

If they were such terrifying gangsters they wouldn't be dead set on going to court; it'd be the horses head in the bed.

It would be so damn funny if either party went into "victim" mode and released a photo showing a horses head on the pillow

Wasn't Ferris accused of killing Thompson Jr? The guy who allegedly got Ferris off by giving him an alibi is now quite dead indeed isn't he. Not massively up on Scottish gangland stuff.

Didn't they sell drugs from ice cream vans and the leader of the mob had 2 council houses knocked into one? It may be me that's been spoiled by Scarface and Goodfellas but it doesn't seem all that big league.
