I'm disappointed tbh. I thought he would lose, but I was hoping Gavin would win well.

In all honesty I'm not sure what most people on here were watching, apart from a few rounds after the knockdown when he trapped him on the ropes a lot, Bundu didn't land a lot, but the 10-8 round and the rounds he won clearly afterwards were enough to get him over the line. I have no issue with any of the scoring, but when I see people talking of shutouts I wonder whether they were facing the telly tonight.

Bundu seems like a good guy - "chop liver with hot sauce".

It wasnt a shut out but it was a clear win. No way did Gavin win, to pretend otherwise is to legitimise bad judging.

Think he was just gutted, obviously didn't fancy the interview, Ricky Burns did similar after losing to Zlaticanin.

Poor show from Gavin, storming out as if he was robbed, showed immaturity and a total lack of class. Must be tough to find out the fix wasn't in after all. It was close but clear, he'd have risen in my estimation if he'd stayed to make his case. Hope he gets back to the gym and batters on. Bundu was a nightmare opponent, Gavin can come again, but the petulance doesnt bode well.

If Brook beats Porter Bundu would be a great first defence.

Gavin to me just get exposed for what he is tonight, a decent amateur who hasn't adapted very well to the pros.

For the first 6 rounds I had it nip and tuck, it was a pure amateur style fight, I thought I'd turned it onto the Commonwealth games for a second. Bundu was doing some nice work also, which was totally ignored by the BN biased commentary, he was feinting well, staying very busy and catching Gavin with flurries, whereas Gavin was trying to pick the odd one or two nice shots on the counter, a pure amateur style, which even Bundu mentioned in the post-fight interview.

After the knockdown I had Bundu winning at least the next 3 rounds, he pinned Gavin to the ropes and was totally out-manning him. Last couple of rounds you could see Bundu tired a bit and Gavin just about nicked them with more back-foot amateur style work.

By the end I had it 2 points up to Bundu, so the scorecards aren't anything controversial, the whole of BN saying that Gavin won the fight is just daft, he clearly didn't, never mind that he got 20 seconds to recover from that body shot, which didn't even look the most massive of body shots and again bundu said the same that it wasn't even a full blooded shot.

If I was Bundu I would jump at the chance if the money was right, he knows Gavin now has a weak body and can't live with the man-strength of a real welterweight. gavin was feather-fisted in there tonight, literally zero power. All that smoke he's had blown up his arse and all the excuses for past poor performances looked like just that tonight, pure excuses. he has the mentality that he is a class above, but it's all just based on his amateur days, he's a very average pro.

I dont think he stormed out cos he thought he was robbed. He stormed out cos he was upset about losing.

That was a poor show from Gavin at the end. Compare how he reacted to how Groves handled the first fight with Froch. I don't think he's going to be mentally strong enough to come back from this. I can see him feeling very down for quite some time and his confidence will take a big blow indeed. I'm not sure he can cut it against the top guys. His lack of power got shown up tonight.

Even if he loses to Porter it would be a great comeback fight as Bundu is highly ranked amongst most governing bodies, I do hope Bundu gets a title shot but the division is so strong and he doesn't offer much to the other champions, he needs to get into a final eliminator for the opportunity I think.

Not just his lack of power but also development as a professional boxer. Too many "easier fights" before taking the step up. Warren's done this so often than I'm amazed he missed it but there is a HUGE gulf between Vassell, a shot Witter and Sakkashittu to European level.

Yep, it was pretty immature, could you imagine Bundu doing the same? Bundu oozed class and maturity in the build-up and post-fight interviews, even when Wank Warren was being fairly disrespectful to him in his post-fight comments.

Gavin has always had that element of the spoilt child who never grew up about him, he clearly has so much boxing ability, but he just hasn't manned up, mentally or physically. Nowhere near enough power in there tonight, it was all pitter patter stuff, which is only ever gona get you so far when you go up the levels in the pro game.
