Burns has made some terrible choices. It's a shame because he's a nice guy. His career has been ruined in a little over a year.
A lot of them were made for him, Alex Morrison seemed to guide away from Billy Nelson, then Eddie Hearn pushed him towards Sims, even the move to Matchroom didn't really seem like his choice, he just went with what his team said.

Haha. I was just watching Tony Sim's in the ring at the end there. He always looks semi brain dead to me.

When Ricky left Fwank he cut all ties. When he found out Billy was still subscribing to B ox Nation he threw a hissy fit. Tony Sims reckons he has never seen B ox Nation ever and that sealed it

Ricky just said he'd worked with a dietician for this fight...was it Russell Grant's dietician?
And what is going on with Eddie's quiff tonight...?

Sims is his mate, his wife and Sims daughter are in business together, cue a load of matchroom fighters heading to his gym. Ricky needs to get as far away from them as possible, back to Glasgow, whether with Billy Nelson or not and back to basics, if he has to go on. I'd rather see him retire than turn into a stepping stone for fighters who wouldn't have had a chance against him when he was at his best.

There's a few former opponents capable of reversing their losses to Ricky. You'd have to give Kevin Mitchell a decent chance at lightweight.

True but its premature to play the "back with Billy Nelson and going back to my roots" card until Ricky has lost a few more fights. Timing is everything

If not Nelson, what about Gallagher? Obviously you've have to forget the Crolla fight.
