Oh stop it.
Winding up Brook, Camp Eddie, Sky and now Trump all with one bout.
This news can't get any better

Do you think he'll even attempt to get back to 147 after this fight? Maybe he'll look/feel more comfortable and stay at 154? I personally think he's ready for chucking it after Canelo but who knows....
me too......last payday for khan............if he lost to brook he'd have had to go off twitter.............

Khan's (black) and Brook's (red) best 10 results in order:
Marcos Maidana
Shawn Porter
Andriy Kotelnik
Zab Judah
Paulie Malignaggi
Devon Alexander
Luis Collazo
Lamont Peterson (Lost)
Chris Algieri
Julio Diaz
Vyacheslav Senchenko
Rafal Jackiewicz
Frankie Gavin
Carson Jones I
Matthew Hatton
Ionut Dan Ion
Lovemore Ndou
Paul McCloskey
Michael Jennings
Carson Jones II
That's my rough order of their best results ranked against each other and Khan dominates.
It really wouldn't be difficult for Brook to vastly improve his record this year just by defending against fairly standard world level opposition.
Brook has to earn a Khan fight. He makes it too easy for the top fighters to avoid him. If Hearn can't get top 10 opposition over here (which he really should be able to do) then Brook has got to go to America to fight them.
Don't forget Danny Garcia and Antonio Barrera (even if he was a bit past it)

Garcia beat him too easily to consider that a good result and the way Khan beat an old, undersized Barrera on a technicality makes me rate that win less than his win over McCloskey.
But at least he stepped into the ring with them.

Khan said on Sky that he didn't think Brook fancied it! Sounds like that's Amir's take on Brook wanting more than 20%! You've got to love Khan...

Just watched an interview with Brook who is not happy to be bypassed and banging on about he does not know why he is jumping two classes away to fight someone else. Uhm, option to fight for the IBF alphabet 147 title or for the lineal, Ring and WBC Middleweight title, one of the most historic belts in existence. Tough choice lol. Added bonus is flipping the finger at Eddie who was banking on this to rescue his shit schedule which has delivered little since Froch v Groves. He has been harping on about filling Wembley again and summer blockbusters but that came to fck all last year and looks the same this year.
Oh and Brook said that Khan is fighting not just a middleweight, but a big middleweight. He does know this kid has never even bloody fought at the fecking weight right? Twat.

Would seem. Balls someone say? Yeah. But..anything possible in this Sport so, I try & sort it different ways.
Still though, Canelo vs Gennady would be the bigger Bonanza!

Brook still bashing on about Amir pricing himself out of the fight as if it were ever going to happen.
I honestly think Khan knew he had this on the fire all along and was hoping it would come off. Meanwhile piss Brotranspir, while keeping him dangling on the hook, knowing that he could, at any point, take the Brook fight at Wembley if the Canelo fight didn't transpire

The fact is Khan had other options of huge fights, brooks only chance of a huge fight was against Khan. Instead of realising that his title is slowly becoming a paper title he seemed to think he was in the driving seat for negotiations. He should have torn khans arm off to get 20% of that purse because now all he will get is 80% of a non PPV event in an arena that holds about a 10th of the one he could be fighting in, plus if he wins it won't lead to mega fights, beating Khan would have got the US's attention and lead to some big money fights.

Indeed, we could all mock Amir for not taking meaningful fights. But the big thing is A) the fights he was chasing was against the best p4p fighters on the planet and B) He' s actually gone and proved us all wrong and delivered the big fight and taken a massive gamble.
Brook on the other hand was chasing Amir and he hasn't delivered so, to date, Brook has yet to have a worthwhile defence and is about to steamroll his 3rd consecutive bum.
He now absolutely has to deliver a unification or a huge name because Khan will not be on the table until at least the following summer, if ever.
And even someone like Chaves wont cut it, he needs something really big now.

I think what youre failing to consider is that if Khan was to lose badly to Brock his big money boxing career would effectively be over as he would have no ready made excuse to justify the loss. After all, Khan is a welterweight.
However, if Khan loses badly to Canelo then his career isnt necessarily over and he can argue, with some mileage, that he was putting himself at a disadvantage by jumping up a couple of weight divisions. As well as a massive payday, a convincing loss to Canelo will see Khan gain general acclaim for being so brave in taking the fight. A loss to Canelo and the Brook fight will still be there, a loss to Brook and the Canelo fight would be gone foreever.
I think the risk/reward of Brook doesnt suit Khan.
Personally i think Khan is worried about Brook, as he will be of Canelo.

I think khan should be worried about Brook, avoiding him and landing a bigger money alternative is win-won for him....until he comes to pay the butcher's bill for losing.....
