(Sorry but I was just answering your question).
True (must say I forgot him) but he didn't 'win the 1st 4 rounds, then blow it in a second' against him as skanksta asserts.
Yeah, but Barrera was well past his best both age wise and weight wise. He never belonged at Lightweight and it showed.
I agree with you about not being prime. Hence the :OhYes:
Prime Barrera probably a different weight to Khan - and probably still beats him.
But I must say I was there that night and Barrera was comfortably looking after himself until he got cut. He did not resemble a man that was stressed, or had bitten off too much......like we saw tonight.

I make a case for Amir hanging them up. Thurman and Brook can both knock him out. Not saying would do but certainly within their capability. I’d walk away now if I was Khan. He has served with distinction imo.

Dreadful scoring....he deserved a minimum of 3 rounds.

Yeah, and he'll never see a bigger payday than he saw tonight.

Looks like the Judges were gonna make damn sure the cash cow didn't lose. I had Khan up 4 rounds to 1 after 5. Can't say I'm surprised to hear this though.

Makes me wonder if Canelo simply needs to last the distance with GGG to get a win. There have been several fights now where judges were cleary on Canelo's side and turned in scores that gave it a 'scored before the fight started' feeling.

The Mayweather fight showed the fix is always in when it comes to Canelo. Had he genuinely won 2 or 3 rounds that night he would have "won" a comfortable decision!

Bad judging can't save you from getting stopped. GGG has had a habit of almost hitting guys when they're down in fights though. He damn sure better watch that against Canelo cuz he'd get DQ'd for sure even if he barely tapped him on the ground.

Murray almost made it 12 though and Canelo is very sturdy. I can see him getting dominated in the ring but just making it to the finish, putting it in the judges' hands.

He'll fight Brook. He wanted his massive us payday against mayweather / pacman but took alvarez where a loss still means he gets big UK payday, never worked the other way if Brook chinned him first

Yes x2

I would say this was a “money fight”.....but I’ve got no doubt that Amir did everything in his power to win and believed that he could

Murray was negative though. Canelo will get busted up and stopped. He's too slow and ponderous for GGG.

I can't see him fighting Brook. He can take a loss to Alvarez, but losing to Brook would destroy him.

He was offered more money on fight Brook. Fighting Canelo wasn't about the money, it was about getting a big fight in the States.

:TU: Murray not letting his hands go was the only reason he made it past 8

He will fight Brook, Khan's massive ego won't let him not fight Brook and it's another fantastic money fight.

Khan needs to take that Brook money then retire, nothing left for him to do.
M.E.N end of the year or early next. Cash out.

Question. Does Khan Brook realistically sell out Wembley or Millenium Stadium or is it an M.E.N fight max?

Mate, it's got nothing to do with money for Khan. He doesn't need the money.

Khan will be fighting Danny Garcia next. Not because he's avoiding Brook, it's because he wants to avenge the loss.

Thank fornicate it never went to cards then.
If Khan could have kept that up for most of the fight he'd have been on the end of an outrageous decision.
Canelo will never loseba point decision there if they only gave khan one round on one card.
Unbelievable.

Only just seen the stoppage, haven't seen the rest of the fight yet. Pretty straight forward shot that landed. Was he going back in a straight line for all the fight or had he just tired at that point?

If Canelo and GGG meet before Candlo waits for him to get old, then it will be interesting to see at which weight. GGG stating he won't co e down from 160.

He was moving well laterally until the fifth, then he started to go back in straight lines more.
