Just finished watching it on catch up. Amazed at Sky in the 11th saying "Skeete is boxing like he's got this in the bag, he might be in for a shock" (or words to that effect).

I had Skeete winning comfortably by a wide margin. I only gave Eggington three rounds.

It was a very predictable result, Eggington is absolutely made for Skeete. Did anyone really predict anything other than a Skeete points win?

Yes, Barry Hearn thought he was unbeatable.

Stylewise Skeete was always going to be a nightmare for Eggington.
Eggington is a young man and can still come back, although I doubt he will ever do much above domestic level.
Skeete looked good, good jab, good footwork, took some good shots too. Onwards and upwards for Bradley

Seriously shocked how some people did not enjoy and appreciate Skeete's performance last night, he boxed beautifully to his strengths what do people expect? He doesn't have any strength or power to be going forward so there's no point in it, why play into your opponents strengths just to please some fans, it would be stupid. If you want to see more action go and watch Lucas Browne.

Boxing & moving is not the same as running away.

Skeete put on a good performance of the former. He stood there, drew the punch, dodged & countered, before moving on to keep his opponent from setting his feet. Excellent boxing.

Obviously not everyone's cup of tea but definitely NOT running away.

Fury beat ATG W. Klitschko. Skeete beat Eggington.

Fury landed more power punches than jabs, I doubt that Skeete did the same.

I was on the fence to be honest. I thought they would both pick up rounds and it would end up coming down to the last four but Skeete was always in control. As I was watching it I was thinking 'why didn't I see this was going to happen'! Hindsight is a wonderful thing I suppose. I like Eggington so I was probably a bit bias beforehand. He's young and fearless and has done things the hard way. Was exposed last night but I hope he can come again. He's certainly young enough.

Fury only landed 86 total punches in the entire fight. Relatively speaking, Skeete was more entertaining against Eggington than Fury was against Wlad.

He didn't though did he? He beat Sam Eggington.

He got a good domestic win by jabbing a lot on the back foot. Not really a performance worth going on about.

and I have to agree with this too ,if anything Skeete engaged ever so slightly more and didn't showboat as much , very similar in the negativity stakes .
