Wladimir lost to Fury, but he could not avenge his defeat because of Fury. The fight was cancelled twice. Fury knew he was going to lose the rematch. When Wladimir is extremely motivated with a good game plan, he is going to be tough to beat. If Fury is in shape, he still is not better than Wladimir or Joshua. I think Fury can be dangerous for most heavyweights if he is in shape physically and mentally, but not the top 5. Fury did beat contenders Christian Hammer and Dereck Chisora prior to facing Wladimir, so he has proved himself to be a legitimate contender in the past. If he wins a world title again from a major sanctioning body, it would be an amazing accomplishment considering what he has gone through.

Nonsense. Wlad lost to Tyson Fury because Fury exploited his gunshyness. And given he could even pressure Joshua even to kep him gassed. it's clear he was every bit as gunshy in that fight. Fury even moderately in shape, as long as keeps his cool, beats Wlad easy.

Fury might be a farce right now... He was a damned good boxer and would have been a much better one if he kept his nose to the grindstone... I believe he wants people to think he could GAF less about Boxing, about anybody's opinion of him, or about anything else... and maybe he does GAF less.

The 2nd time Fury fought Chisora I knew he would be extremely difficult for anybody to beat if he ever got his ass into shape... Chisora couldn't reach Fury or budge him with anything and was beaten to trash by the 10th round... Fury was completely unmarked and never breathing hard... He was fat too.

I would like to see Fury moderately in shape and fight one of the champions or Klitschko again. Let's see what happens. I doubt Fury wins.

What's funny is that people used to howl that Chisora was fat and depressed for their first meet. By the second meet, no one gave Fury any credit even though Fury was the fat and depressed one that time.

If Fury got into good condition...not "moderate" condition. He would be difficult for anybody to beat... There is something seriously wrong with that man

Even in his current shape, he'd beat Wach, Teper, Helenius, Chisora, Whyte, and Hammer.

I rewatched AJ Klitschko in full the other day. AJ did better than I remember but he was loosing and needed a knockout or knock down. He really can hold his own in terms of boxing ability and is a hell of a puncher. The old man, 5 years prior would have finished him off and had he had body punches in his arsenal, even a simple body jab, I think he could have done AJ in that night. But. He doesnt have and he didnt and I'm only speculating.

Tyson, on the other hand, has been out of it for a long time, he's not fighting and/or training fit (like Wlad was training wise), he really needs at least one fight before he enters "the lions den". Does he really believe it, is he underestimating Joshua. Is this the only fight that will motivate him or is he cashing out? I just don't think he has a love for boxing and/or training, if I was him I would have a tune up before the biggest of his life if he's taking his career seriously.

Maybe he can fight Robert Helenius as a tune up.

Tyson fury,a healthy, klit beating fury is the best heavyweight out of them all.Hard to hit, fast on his feet and with his hands it would be a shut out vs joshua in my opinion.

I think Miller would be a proper opponent - big, strong, slow.....

The fighters people are giving him wins against would be far more threatening to him than he would to Joshua. He's going to be a slovenly blob, years out of the ring and presumably off of PED's. He might be cannon fodder for Helenius. if Robert is still fighting in 2021 when Tyson fights again.

Helenius wasted his career, unfortunately. So, I think Miller would be the best one to prepare Fury before facing Joshua.

Eh, I think you took it way too far with Pulev. Pulev is one of the best fighters currently. An in-shape Fury for sure beats him, but I don't think an out of shape one does it here.

Mexi-Box, Pulev's basic weapon is his jab. I think it is almost impossible beat Fury with jabs.

Why? People talk about the over the top hype for guys like Spence or GGG, but Tyson Fury is a mythical creature to many. This elusive slick defensive wizard that has never existed. He's quite easy to hit, if you throw. He's huge and tough, good feet for a big lug, but this whole heavyweight Whitaker thing you're on is a riot. God I wish he would come back in the greatest form of his life so I could laugh when Joshua gives him the hearns/Duran treatment.

I can not wait, too....It would be 50/50 type of fight...Joshua by KO/TKO or Fury by decision (maybe late stoppage, see Chisora 2)............

Yes, he (TF) is slick, elusive defansive wizard, with a weak chin, unfortunately.

His chin isn't weak, his poor defense just leads to bombs flush on the chin.
