Great post candyslim
Yes, it was a really great post.nmhz wrote:Great post candyslim
Well he was ... and then he wasn't ... genuine mistake or a situation engineered to prevent the fight? We each have our opinions about that but one thing you should be prepared to admit is that by any standard of justice in any country that prides itself on being fair and righteous, this was a total miscarriage of justice and Povetkin at 34 years old now has probably been deprived of his chance to win a world title.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Povetkin isn't eligible to fight for wilders title. Not that deontay should waste any time on him.
Damn, Mr. SweetSkinny, I'm feeling like an ear wormcandyslim wrote:@ nmhz and ValMar: Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. Definitely agree about Wilder and Fury.
@ Saad: pbc? Wilder has liver disease? I bloody well hope that's a different pbc ... now you're going to make me feel silly aren't you?
@ Asdfjkl: Wow. Looks like someone's been listening to Tanzio: Very interesting match-ups which should tell us a lot more about Miller's potential in the division. The Big Baby is now walking on his own and will soon be able to play with the big boys.
Szpilka v Kownacki: An interesting match between two Polish guys separated by an ocean, They must be Poles-apart. Boom-boom ... I'm here all week folks
Just kidding with you, Mr. Slim. An ear worm =candyslim wrote:Help me out Tanz - what is an ear worm and what does one feel like?![]()
Yeah I like this fight ... let's hope nothing happens to fukc it up. Can you imagine if other sports were like this. Say, Patriots playing the Bears next month. Let's hope the match actually goes ahead as planned huh? ... WTF?

I'm sure plenty will say "Ferkit he was juicin' anyways" but is that any way to operate a system of justice ... guilty until proven innocent - and then beyond? That's the kind of justice you associate with the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin.
Well done Asdfjkl. You stuck by him through all the abuse and piss taking, and even the WBC admit you were right all along. You were so persistent that taken together with your odd looking user name, had me convinced you were from somewhere in Russia or the former Soviet block.
I've just been watching a montage of Povetkin knockouts and it's clear that even ten, twelve years ago, he was extremely heavy-handed. Not only could he always bang but he throws a beautiful combination. I'm not saying he wouldn't have, but I'd have loved to see how Deontay would have coped with him. Now we shall never know. Thanks for that WBC you despicable and corrupt bunch of a-holes.

Oh right. Thanks for that> I think I heard of that now you mention it.Tanzio wrote: "An earworm, sometimes known as a brainworm, sticky music, or stuck song syndrome, is a catchy piece of music that continually repeats through a person's mind after it is no longer playing. No I didn't. I googled it to make sure it wasn't wishful thinking on his part. Sure enough there's an article about the statement from the WBC. I think the Huck fight was an aberration. Anyone can have a stinker can't they?SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Complete nonsense, the WBC admitted they were wrong? You're taking the prancing dutchmans word for it?![]()
Where is he ranked with the WBC? It was an interesting fight, I haven't watched a Povetkin fight since he got his ass kicked by Huck. Wilder's combination of Awkward, Vulnerable, Power would have changed that. Too bad Povetkin couldn't dope properly.
Povetkin didn't dope at all, never done, probably never will do, so ofcourse he can't dope properly.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Complete nonsense, the WBC admitted they were wrong? You're taking the prancing dutchmans word for it?![]()
