Washington vs Miller scheduled! That's a very interesting fight! It can make us compare Wilder and Miller!

Szpilka vs Adam Kownacki, also an interesting fight!

@ nmhz and ValMar: Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. Definitely agree about Wilder and Fury.

@ Saad: pbc? Wilder has liver disease? I bloody well hope that's a different pbc ... now you're going to make me feel silly aren't you?

@ Asdfjkl: Wow. Looks like someone's been listening to Tanzio: Very interesting match-ups which should tell us a lot more about Miller's potential in the division. The Big Baby is now walking on his own and will soon be able to play with the big boys.

Szpilka v Kownacki: An interesting match between two Polish guys separated by an ocean, They must be Poles-apart. Boom-boom ... I'm here all week folks :D

I just heard Povetkin, the men who was guilty untill proven innocent has indeed turned out to be innocent! I already expected this from start till end. So maybe Wilder can now fight Povetkin anyway.

Povetkin isn't eligible to fight for wilders title. Not that deontay should waste any time on him.

Well he was ... and then he wasn't ... genuine mistake or a situation engineered to prevent the fight? We each have our opinions about that but one thing you should be prepared to admit is that by any standard of justice in any country that prides itself on being fair and righteous, this was a total miscarriage of justice and Povetkin at 34 years old now has probably been deprived of his chance to win a world title.

I'm sure plenty will say "Ferkit he was juicin' anyways" but is that any way to operate a system of justice ... guilty until proven innocent - and then beyond? That's the kind of justice you associate with the Soviet Union under Joseph Stalin.

Well done Asdfjkl. You stuck by him through all the abuse and piss taking, and even the WBC admit you were right all along. You were so persistent that taken together with your odd looking user name, had me convinced you were from somewhere in Russia or the former Soviet block.

I've just been watching a montage of Povetkin knockouts and it's clear that even ten, twelve years ago, he was extremely heavy-handed. Not only could he always bang but he throws a beautiful combination. I'm not saying he wouldn't have, but I'd have loved to see how Deontay would have coped with him. Now we shall never know. Thanks for that WBC you despicable and corrupt bunch of a-holes.

Damn, Mr. SweetSkinny, I'm feeling like an ear worm

I do think that this is a good match. I like some of what I have seen in Washington. Decent step for Miller.

Yeah I like this fight ... let's hope nothing happens to fukc it up. Can you imagine if other sports were like this. Say, Patriots playing the Bears next month. Let's hope the match actually goes ahead as planned huh? ... WTF?

Just kidding with you, Mr. Slim. An ear worm =

"An earworm, sometimes known as a brainworm, sticky music, or stuck song syndrome, is a catchy piece of music that continually repeats through a person's mind after it is no longer playing. Phrases used to describe an earworm include "musical imagery repetition", "involuntary musical imagery", and "stuck song syndrome"." Wiki

Except now we know it wasn't nonsense. Even the World Boxing Conspiracy admit it. Still, who gives a sh!t. I already done throwed away the key?

You surely have to admit Saad ... It would have been a helluva fight.

Complete nonsense, the WBC admitted they were wrong? You're taking the prancing dutchmans word for it?

Where is he ranked with the WBC? It was an interesting fight, I haven't watched a Povetkin fight since he got his ass kicked by Huck. Wilder's combination of Awkward, Vulnerable, Power would have changed that. Too bad Povetkin couldn't dope properly.

June rankings, only one Heavyweight in the WBC top 40 fighting on Saturday, it's not your boy. What I don't know is how long he's suspended from their rankings for.

No I didn't. I googled it to make sure it wasn't wishful thinking on his part. Sure enough there's an article about the statement from the WBC. I think the Huck fight was an aberration. Anyone can have a stinker can't they?

I think he might have found the height differential hard to cope with (Wilder being much more mobile that the likes of Wach who also towered over AP) and Wilder's right cross would have been a real threat against the shorter man. On the other hand Povetkin is much more talented than any previous victim of Wilder's and we've seen some pretty feeble opposition land punches on Wilder that have shaken him. If Molina could get to him I'm sure Povetkin could and when he hits 'em they tend to stay hit.

I can't honestly think of many match-ups at the top of the heavyweight tree that would be anywhere near as intriguing.

You can go back to sleep now if you like, I've said my piece for the moment.

Povetkin didn't dope at all, never done, probably never will do, so ofcourse he can't dope properly.
Wilder might be a lot better in it, just like Stiverne, who got busted doping life in the act, while, remarkebly, his samples were still clean?!

Wada sadly ruined a lot, and the saddest thing is that Wilder managed to abuse that. It's not a wonder that Wilder wanted Wada to be involved so badly back in the days. Wilder knew all along that they would help him getting out of the Povetkin fight.
