Other fights - Stalker vs Dodd - decent enough fight to watch but could have easily predicted it would go like this, not sure what all the nuthugging for Stalker was for, he's a weak pro with zero power, don't care what he did in the amateurs.
O'Hara Davies vs Farrell - Very predictable, a prospect with no power fed mostly on low level guys vs a very good British/Euro level guy with massive power in Davies. Only one ending and that was what happened. Should have been stopped sooner.
Butler vs Stuey Hall - Was anyone really bothered about this fight? Hall way past his prime, after 2-3 predictable rounds I stuck Match Of The Day on. I agree an initially promising looking card turned out to be very mediocre.
I still don't think Davies has this massive power that people claim. Sure he landed on Farrell and he looked hurt but was able to carry on for a few rounds.
At the moment I'm not convinced he is British level. He turned down Tyrone Nurse for the British title last year so how can he be higher than British level ?
I said after the scarpa fight he wasn't that good and I still stand by it. He will be matched VERY carefully as he was last night.
