Re: John David Jackson: Sergey Kovalev Quit!

Just lock up Kovalev and Jackson in the same room, and let nature follow his due course.
I rarely see his posts. Novels are definitely the worst part of the rancid posting repertoire.boxing_rocks wrote:EO staying on topic is even worse, as it means 1000-line posts which nobody reads. I suggest just locking all threads started by fergus for his own mental sake.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:What does the locking of the thread have to with boxing? It sounds like he's blaming himself. I agree, this thread should be locked due to fergus' inability to stay on topic.
OCD ? Are you sure ?boxing_rocks wrote:It should be locked, because it aggravates EO's OCD.
that might not be true, but itValMar wrote:There are so many bad things on Balkan, but, here, there are more vegans than racists.man wrote:you seem to have a twisted perceptionValMar wrote:Believe it or not, but racism is pretty weak on Balkan. There are a lot of black sportsmen, who are/were very, very beloved - Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis, Joshua(ok, Mayweather is well known, but he is not beloved).....Pele is still a football king, Bolt is extremely popular, too....
Should I mention actors, musicians.....etc...etc....
of what racism means. it is the everyday
things that count, not the admiration of
celebrities.
He's gotten a few of those beforeKalan wrote:Kovalev didn't go down... He didn't turn his back... He didn't do a Roberto Duran and walk away from his opponent... He didn't wave the fight off...
He bent over from a low blow exactly like Larry Holmes did when Gerry Cooney hit him low... John David Jackson needs a KO punch right in the face.
....It is true, and I have never met any vegan in my whole life (born 1965, like Lennox Lewis).......man wrote:that might not be true, but itValMar wrote:There are so many bad things on Balkan, but, here, there are more vegans than racists.man wrote: you seem to have a twisted perception

is definitely funny.
But, he did not act as though he would like to have continued. If he would have taken a knee, it would have likely continued to its ultimate conclusion.Kalan wrote:Kovalev didn't go down... Your tear ducts have got to be getting worn out by now.Kalan wrote:He didn't act as though he would have liked to continue?????? ... He had NO chance.. Weeks waved the fight off after a low blow. Ward started celebrating.
There was NO reason to wave the fight off like Weeks ADMITTED he prematurely did... What if the referee had waved off the Holmes-Cooney fight when Holmes leaned over from a low blow???? ... There would have been a riot!!
Kovalev is a Russian and ALL FOUR of those officials were Americans... Three of them were looking to get Kovalev beaten, anyway they could.

I agree, 100 %...........boxing_rocks wrote:Kovalev was gassed partially from legit body punches, partially from multiple low blows, but mainly because his physical shape wasn't good enough for the work rate he picked. I think that by the time of the stoppage he already realized that.
The stoppage was still outrageous.
..I agree that this and the stoppage were unacceptable...Kalan wrote:...
