But, he did not act as though he would like to have continued. If he would have taken a knee, it would have likely continued to its ultimate conclusion.

Kovalev was gassed partially from legit body punches, partially from multiple low blows, but mainly because his physical shape wasn't good enough for the work rate he picked. I think that by the time of the stoppage he already realized that.

The stoppage was still outrageous.

Tell me, how did that stoppage compare to Khan holding Judah's head down with his forearm and hitting him low that resulted in a stoppage? Where was the outrage then? Kovalev didn't quit because he got hit in the sack?
