Yes, you are correct that I have an extensive knowledge on the history of Boxing, though I don't know that it's exactly a necessity for one to be a mod on this forum, but I don't figure somebody would frequent a Boxing forum as I have if they didn't have a strong appreciation for the sport.

Leon Spinks' story is pretty well known I'd say. He disgraced the title far worse than Tyson did.

The guys you mentioned that he was DEFINITELY better than. John Ruiz, Michael Bentt, Leon Spinks, Trevor Berbick all did something he didn't. DEFEND The Heavyweight Title. Even if they lost it in their 1st title defense. They at least stepped in the ring, and defended the title.
