doubt it will do that, doesnt seem to be getting overwhelming attention, which might relate to 'its on!' already being announced a month ago. we were just waiting on venue etc but they still dont even have that
bizarre with how things have gone. even now no venue or location out

Very strange announcement, without venue finalized. In order to make this a big PPV in the USA there will need to be a legit co-main involving a major Mexican fighter(s). Mikey or Leo level, at least.
Leo vs Gary Russell Jr., Valdez, or Nery would work.

This could be the toughest challenge for both men thus far in their careers. If Tyson can stay mobile, use his jab and frustrate Wilder, then it could be a helluva fight.
If Tyson holds his ground and tries to trade, he is going to be knocked out!

Can probably get an internal flight for less than 100 dollars or rent a muscle car an drive it which is boss in itself
I did it an a mustang, along with countless others no doubt...loved every fvcking minute of it!
It's boss isn't it. I've had 2 camaros 1 was the SS unbelievable car, 2 mustangs and a dodge challenger. Absolutely loved it. Would never consider going to Vegas without a trip to california aswell especially as flights to la can be so cheap.
Worst part of the trip for me is getting to an from London as that's where most of the cheap off season flights are from

How many fights has LSC had this year? He should definitely fight in December. He's a big sell at Staples Center. But then again, he headlines that arena himself, why would he be a support cast.

Hilarious how spiteful and vindictive Frank is to hold this back weeks, just so they can announce it on the same day as the Joshua fight. Trying to steal it’s thunder but I doubt it makes a blind bit of difference

Rival promotions always do this. It's nothing new

Staples Centre? I reckon a local Staples branch would have the capacity to hold this.
I think the British care much more about this than the Americans.

Official Press Release
WBC World Champion Deontay Wilder will defend his title against lineal champion Tyson Fury in a blockbuster matchup of undefeated heavyweights on Saturday, December 1, live on SHOWTIME PPV® at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
Wilder vs. Fury tests the raw power of Wilder against the unmatched size and mobility of Fury. America’s only heavyweight champion since 2007, Wilder has 39 knockouts in 40 professional fights, including knockouts in all seven of his title defenses. Fury is a former IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight world champion who is undefeated in 27 professional fights and holds boxing’s coveted lineal heavyweight title.
The evenly matched showdown of top-ranked heavyweights pits boxing’s two largest champions against each other in the most significant heavyweight fight in the United States since Lennox Lewis vs. Mike Tyson in 2002. In addition to physical stature – Wilder is 6-foot-7, Fury 6-foot-9 – both are among boxing’s greatest showmen, with outsized personalities and heavyweight charisma.

I'm afraid Americans don't care about it at all.
Especially in Los Angeles, a city always eager to support the Latino smaller guys, but not very excited about the heavies.
At least in Las Vegas, it could have drawn the gambling crowd.
I don't know why they felt there was a compelling need to put on this fight before the end of the year.
If it was slated for January or so, Las Vegas arenas would have been available.

I reckon it'll sell out, against expectations.
