Feels similar to the 1st fight in terms of closeness, but it was a much more action packed fight this time. Kudos to Canelo for standing his ground, and making it more of an action fight this time. Wasn't a KO, but not for lack of effort. They went to war in there!

I thought Golovkin swept the 2nd half other than the 7th round.

Some of the work was top class too. I was surprised to see him chasing GGG at times.

I thought Golovkin took a close fight. But I was very impressed with Canelo.

Was a close fight, but this fight for me was easier to score than the first. Golovkin really took over in the later half of the fight.

Boxing follows the money. Golden Boy has all the influence, that said this is Boxing.

I had 116-112 for Golovkin. Can see 115-113 as well. I think I had it even after 8 and then Golovkin taking over. I can see Canelo being up after 7 or 8 as well but definitely think GGG dominated the last third of the fight. Thought Canelo was hurt 2 or 3 times between rounds 9 and 11 but recovered brilliantly.

Gutted for Golovkin, had his defining moment stolen by the judges in the first fight.

Great fight though, far better than the first.
