119-109 Kovalev. Even if you are generous to Alvarez, you can't give him more than 3 rounds.

Dominant win by kovalev. He’s back! Maybe got a few fights left at the top given his age.

Yeah.
Not many come back from losses like that - especially by immediate rematch.

The lady judge was the only one who had it right. The other two bozos had it far too close.

Wow. Impressive. Why I don’t bet on boxing. I stink. But you had to be generous to give any round to Álvarez. I scored it 10-2 and I feel like those 2 rounds that I took from Kov were disengenious.

Ward’s commentary was gold. Short and steady Kovalev is unbeatable. Balls out Kovalev gets him knocked out. Best comment I’ve ever heard via ringside commentator.

Yes credit to ward he spoke well and clearly knows what he’s looking at.

The surprise is they didn't give it to alvarez the way boxing judging is. If it was in Las Vegas Alvarez would have gotten the win.

Lol. Right? Maybe Vegas has a law that no Álvarez can ever lose a decision in Vegas.

Now Kovalev has proved, that he can avenge losses. However, in Ward case I still don't count the 1st fight as a real loss for Sergey.

Neither was a real loss for him.

The only fight that Kovalev legitimately lost was Alvarez 1.

Well, in the 2nd fight the stoppage sucked, yes. But the fight was going bad for Sergey prior to it.

Overall I argee. The first Ward fight was a robbery. The 2nd Ward fight had an early stoppage after low blows, despite Kovalev fighting worse there.

All those things we saw as shortcomings in the Krusher leading up to this rematch have pretty much been addressed.
He took a round off, otherwise no stamina issues- in fact he sorta got a second wind. The performance spoke for his team as well as the Krushernator.
And we love redemption :yay:

Repeated low blows by Ward while the Mafia Vegas referee looked on approvingly.

Yeah. And after such a performance there's no reason for the rubber match. Kovalev must unify now, while he's still there. Time can be limited in such age.

Excellent win for Kovalev! 117-111 for me. Happy for him. Alvarez just did not put the punches together at all tonight.
