What are they supposed to do about just these douches getting new screen names? There's no traceability available, unless you make each account get validated through email.

I don't know who is a returning troll or a new poster. I have to just figure it out by their posting pattern. I don't know their IP address, and all that kinda jazz.

I often have to approve or disapprove new posters to become a regular member I guess I should look for clues a lot closer with the new posters, I'll admit I often just approve just to get it the hell off of my notifications, but every now and then I'll shoot it down. Usually the only stuff that strikes me as an obvious troll right out the gate is the people that are hawking some Streaming site or trying to sell some sh*t or something, and putting up a link. I shoot those guys down straight away.

If that's something that I can do, I wouldn't know how so it's beyond my expertise I'll just say that. Trust me if I could keep the trolls from coming back I'd love to do so, but it's not something that I can do I don't believe or even if it is it's not something I know how to do.

I agree 100%, Vitali is one of the best heavyweights in history.
Quote and subscribe. As awkward as they come, but tough as nails...

Gave great Lennox Lewis' the time of his life, if not else.
Vitaly did what tyson and holyfield couldnt.

Tyson won maybe 1 rd and was schooled, i exoected more from (i know he was far from his prime but yet still he shouldve dine more). Holyfield was well trained in perfect shape and couldnt do nothing, rarly won a 1 single round. The judging was a farce. Vitaly was winning rounds in dominant fashion. Vitaly wss taller had similar reach better chin was simply tall and strong and mentality tough and lennox couldnt deal with that. Out of his breath, bloody nose. Close to prime holyfield was never close to doing such damage.
Vitali's a former proficient kickboxer, tough as anyone who takes kicks all over his body, but, unlike most of the kickboxers-turned-boxers, could fit even in the more-refined noble art.

He roughed up everyone he met, no matter how sharp, showing off an iron chin, but never taking irresponsible punishment like Alí or Tyson... Succeeding where his unripe brother had failed.

In fact, he was no-less exciting than Iron Mike.

I don't know what happened with Vitali, if he got old, if he was lured by politics, I don't know.

To me, he's easy a top-20 ever heavyweight, even if I pull him out rarely because I'm afraid of picky purists busting me, but I sure liked him more than his glass-chinned brother.

..my understanding is that ips have been dynamic for years...they change every time you start a computer..Most dynamic IP addresses can be traced to your provider and not directly to the specific user..

Winning on points. Wouldve won. Was the better man. Punches cut but illegal tactics like rubbing your gloves head inside the cuts made it this bad
Welcome back Kalan.
I guarantee it's him
You think? Doesn't he seem like he's 12 or something? Kalan had a bit of a flair, while this bloke is just plain stupid.
Yes definitely not Kalan. Even when talking bollocks he did so with a certain air of authority or gravitas. This guy claims to be an old timer but comes across as lacking that self assured manner.

Foreman twice KO'ed Joe Frazier, who is likely a top 15 all-time heavyweight, and the best heavyweight swarmer of all-time. He KO'ed Ken Norton, who is possibly a top 25 all-time heavyweight. He KO'ed George Chuvalo and Ron Lyle. I'm pretty certain that he belongs in the conversation a lot more than Usyk currently does.

The fact that Usyk received the least votes of all the options should be your first clue that he was not a particularly good inclusion on this poll. Also, the fact that you could list four more names before you hit the limit is a sign that this is a bad poll. Hell, you included NUMEROUS names that are not currently considered top 10 all-time. None of Vitali, Joshua, and Usyk are currently regarded as top 10 all-time. You could've easily given 3 different sub-par options the boot and added 7 more good options to the poll.
Wuuupa wrote: 20 Dec 2018, 19:33This shows you how much people talk about boxing but dont study boxing like i do.
You don't seem to be aware that Tyson and Holyfield were past-it when they fought Lewis or that Holmes was past-it when he fought Tyson. So there is a good chance that you actually know a lot less about boxing than most everyone else.

How can you in include a guy who has never fought at heavyweight in a poll about the best heavyweight ever?

As it stands, Roy Jones Jr has a better record at heavyweight than Usyk and he should be nowhere near this poll either.

Well this thread aged terribly. I still wonder if Kalan killed himself when Joshua lost to Ruiz or did the 2 Usyk losses finish him off with a heart attack?

I believe the one word answer is: No. But we boxing fans tend to exaggerate everything. He is certainly a very good HW though.

Depending on the context, I’m not so sure he’s very good. I suppose if compared to all pro-fighters at all levels anyone who hits the upper echelon in any way is very good. If we’re looking at the top guys across the eras of boxing, he’s definitely on the low end.

My categories of fighters are 1) Great 2) Excellent 3) Very Good, and of course it gets lower from there. So "very good" might sound better than it is, another way of saying it is 3rd rate to the first 2 categories,

Definitely a very good Heavyweight.
You don't win the title and defend it multiple times and be called average.
Some fans think that if a fighter is not top 10 all time they suck

Which goes to show how little they know about the sport.

If you look at a list of the all time greatest boxers. The guy that was the 1500th best of all time would still be a total badass by the standards of your average joe, and was probably a consistent Top 10 ranked guy in his own era at the very worst.
