Always seems completely sound whenever I've seen him interviewed. Obv his fans are typical boorish football fans though. Vile peasant sport

Av never really been big on him. He’s good and got a good engine. I rate him. But just don’t like him.

Lolz at wanky Leeds fans. Yer team bottled it again. Was lovely being a Blades fan last season. Hopefully warrington loses tomorrow, seems like a proper nobhead, acting all hard, bony faced pratt.

He's a world boxing champion, probably quite hard to be fair

I like him and his old man, but his support does seem to have a lot of idiots amongst it.

Yeah josh strikes me as an all right bloke, but when he gets into that routine in front of his knobhead fans it’s going to turn a lot of people off.
When you’re as hard as nails and able to walk through a world-class puncher like Carl Frampton without blinking, you can afford to be a nice guy out of the ring, look how popular Ricky Hatton was, a diamond outside the ring but an absolute bastard when the bell rang.

I’d like to see Kid do well, But I haven’t watched a lot of him, because without the Naz bazooka punch, it’s a bit dull, and surely he hasn’t got the strength to hold off a marauding monster like Warrington..

Josh on points

Who did you see him spar?

that said hes probably the better fighter over all, but warrington is effective and conditioned, and that should be enough
yeah, I would see this as one where if all things were equal, the style match w/Warrington's pressure and workrate would be a bad match for KG

as it happens I don't think things are quite equal: Warrington has proven recent track record against world level fighters whereas KG has nothing like that kind of top level seasoning

those two factors alone make me strongly favour Warrington, the only caveat I have is I do personally thing KG is capable of fighting above the level of his past opposition- but he'd have to step way up to win this.

They were in a little shock because apparently its barry that gets the better of sparring partners, but jetlag was mentioned, so perhaps that was the reason. From what I remember he didn't spar again during that time there, but did work out. Anyone with any affiliation to the ingle gym etc...feel free to ask about it.
I remember him! i'd forgotten he'd moved over there, i liked what i saw of him (about 6 years ago?!) he's still boxing?

Exactly. No need to act like the twats in the crowd. Best to stay classy and be respectful then smash them about on fight night

Thanks pal.
Possibly they were working on things for their world title eliminator against a come forward Freddie Roach fighter??
To be fair he got a good win in Boston.
Got any video of the spar?

See, to me that just sounds ridiculous. Nobody? Ever? Not when he was at the start of his camp and the other fella was just before a fight? Not when he was a bit ill or injured or just not on it? In all the thousands of rounds he's sparred Kid Galahad is a unique individual entirely immune to bad days or even heaven forbid just running into a fighter who was better than him? I don't believe it for a second.

Not surprised if that account above is true a featherweight sparring a welterweight (especially when hydrated) is always going to be tough
