The worst possible option :o

What makes it even worse is that rather than eventually unify and dissolve the belt, they would most likely just promote Bryan to full Regular champ...

The fight is also in New York, Kownacki's from New York...
Pulev had a bad cut.

Miller is expected to not be licensed by the NYSAC upon his hearing, which is normal protocol. I cannot believe this is happening, but I do.

I assume they will be approaching multiple possible opponents. I agree, Charr would be a rotten choice.

I've heard Michael Hunter's name thrown out there to replace Miller if his "B" test comes back positive.

Hunter is a better fighter than miller, but he has nothing for Joshua.

Hunter smacks of cruiserweight. He would be a terrible choice.

I go with Kownascki. He can talk, entertain, punch a bit, but overall isn't very threatening.

And it doesn't hurt that he's white. You need something like that to attract fans who may now pass on watching Joshua fight.

The lover of juicy burgers can be replaced. The time til the bout isn't critical. Furthermore I don't think, that the top guys are totally partying between the bouts. The likes of Whyte, Hunter, Kownacki are probably keeping themsleves fit. Hopefully a respectable contender steps up.

He's a better boxer no doubt but he is nowhere near the threat level ... or should I say the potential threat level, because I may be guilty of having overrated Miller all along. I guess now we shall have to wait a lot longer to find out.

With Hunter you know what you're getting. A skillful boxer with mobility and bags of heart who is a little on the small side. He is well capable of outmanoeuvring and outpointing a lumbering giant like Bakole, Ustinov, even Joe Joyce for example but a huge, quick, mobile, athletic beast like AJ will destroy him.
