Why is the a sample tested so close to the fight? Should it not be tested a week before in order to allow the b sample to then be checked prior to the fight?

It's almost as if no one wants any fights to be cancelled as a result of pre fight testing!

I can only assume it's to limit the time to drug up before the fight.

UKAD/BBBoC don't take action on "A" sample testing. So it's still a very dodgy situation.

We'll really just have to wait and see how this all plays out. Dill had "low levels" of the metabolytes, but Dianabol has a very short half life, so I have no idea what to make of any of this. I'm a bit conflicted at this point.

Sounds like Whyte also had TUE's in place then and that's why he was cleared to fight. Having explained to the board why he failed a test. It looks like Whyte's TUE's didn't cover the actual banned drugs he took but managed to convince the board.

The transcript is shady as hell though. It's almost as if Eddie knew Whyte was on the gear and Whyte couldn't believe he got caught after being so careful and passing two other tests before.

How long are British athletes going to be allowed TUE's? Our country is a disgrace that lets it's sportsmen cheat. I want to know who of our sportsmen have TUE's.

It's wrong to take PEDs especially in a combat sport but I think Eddie did the right thing letting the fight go on. It was within the rules...though I think Rivas had a right to know.

Eubank hinted heavily that Watson was juicing in the rematch.

Edward is banging on about being cleared to fight, as if that is a justification and it makes it acceptable. Lot of smoke going up to cloud the real issue - did he fail a test? What was in his system? How did it get there?

I am imagining they found some legalities through a well paid brief to enable him to be cleared to fight at the hearing, or the legals threw enough up in the air to scare the living shite out of the panel that they would be sued to hell and back if they did not clear him. Probably sprouting all sorts of - procedures, human rights, B Samples, rights to defend himself etc

I had not subscribed for about 3 years, but this year decided to again. However realised I am not using it enough and the output is poor, so decided to cancel. Am calling to do so today and for pure sh!ts and giggles, will say it is due to the lack of coverage of this, and how I cannot support a service which such poor ethics.
