Bika not giving a sincere effort is the only way Benn wins, which would only serve to make this even more of a farce than it already is.

I don't really think it would be worth it for anybody to pay Bika what it would likely take to sully his pride by giving a fake effort here.

He's won his last 2 fights. Which were in 2017. Benn meanwhile lost his last 3 fights....in 1996.

Bika is 40, Benn is 55.

I mean...come on.

It couldn't even be sold as a convincing dive for f*ck's sake. By all logic, Benn should have NO CHANCE.

Prime for prime Sakio would make it a very difficult night for Benn. Right now, I couldn’t watch this fight.

Seems like a bewildering choice of opponent for a fighter who has been out of action for the best part of a quarter of a century, and was hardly at his best in his last few fights.

Something doesn't seem right, will an "exhibition" card get pulled out at some point?

It is strange. Why would Benn want closure with Bika, maybe closure via KO perhaps. There are a lot of fighters out there that would love to go toe to toe with Benn and for less money.

I wonder when Chris Eubank will start to give a bit of his 'money's worth'?

It’s baffling. Bika was and no doubt still is a proper hard bastard. Why has he been chosen? There’s a thousand journeymen/ club fighter types out there he MIGHT stand a chance against.

Still like this fight better than flintoff

I think sometimes when we all get abit fitter and lose some weight and maybe have a little sparr and feel good about getting hit and taking the hit,we feel we are younger than we are and can do the things we did when we were in our 20's then when it gets abit tough and the breathes become deeper and your bent over trying to get air in your lungs you realise "im too old for this" this is benn now i think.

I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t, but when there was a feint possibility that I might get a Roy Jones contest there was no doubt that I would have done it.
Yes, but after loads of back surgery, cancer, bleeds on the brain and now I’m waiting for a couple of operations and having double vision I’m retired. WBU World will become vacant on May 18 next year but if they ask me I will vacate.

Its the opponent to choose for 'closure' thats weird. He could get 'whats left in the basement' from someone easier. Benn was a warrior no doubt but have bitten off more than he can chew here. Something is not right, it smells like a fix to me but we will have to wait and see.

Benn said he is not doing it for the money which is a good job, they will both do well to get 15k each.
Also there is a lot easier fights out there than Bika, Robin Deakin would take it.
They will have to sell a lot of tickets and also PPV's, and I think that will be tough to do. If they did it for a fiver maybe a few would tune in for the freak show, at 15 no.
I imagine the fighters are on a low basic and then are hoping for PPV money. And DiLuca will take out his money before anyone gets paid.

Said it before Benn and Bika both live in the same place , where they live the boxing communitty is small , Benn says they have met , bet your bottom dollar there mates , closure my ass , its money and ego , He's with his sons involved in there carreers , and wants to show he's the king , Sika will read the script , and they will both top up there pension funds
